Clinton ignites storm of controversy over her remarks
“To just be grossly generalistic”, she said, “you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables”. Weaver in a release said she is getting more confused by how people on the political right can consider King a “patriot”. ‘Unfortunately there are people like that.

Speaking at a LGBT fundraiser in New York, Ms Clinton said Mr Trump had given voice to hateful rhetoric through his behaviour as a candidate for the White House in the November 8 election. Trump’s campaign quickly pounced on the remarks.
“One day after promising to be aspirational & uplifting, Hillary insults millions of Americans. Well I don’t believe that’s how you get things done in our country”, Clinton says in the ad.
Later Thursday, at a rally in Charlotte, Clinton stressed that the meeting brings together people from both sides of the aisle.
Meanwhile, Clinton performs a little better in the other two states, as she leads Trump by 47 percent to 43 percent in North Carolina and by 48 percent to 43 percent in Pennsylvania.
But in a hilarious typo that underscores the sheer irony of Trump’s statement, Spicer mistakenly wrote “deportables” instead of “deplorables”.
The event was the first time Trump and Clinton appeared on the same stage since becoming the official nominees of their respective parties, although it wasn’t at the same time.
“These are the desperate attacks of a flailing campaign sinking in the polls, and characteristics of someone woefully unfit for the presidency of the United States”, Jason Miller, senior communications adviser for Trump, said in a statement. In a speech last month that Clinton lacks the “mental and physical stamina to take on ISIS”.
“He’s taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican Party”, Clinton said in Reno, Nevada. Does this mean that Hillary Clinton’s campaign must realize how bad this must look?
“How can someone like (Lauer) not set the record straight on Trump’s bogus claim of being against the war in Iraq?” tweeted Glenn Kessler, fact-checking at The Washington Post.
In 2012, Obama responded to Romney’s statement, saying, “We need a President who is fighting for all Americans, not one who writes off almost half the country”.

“We can’t take anyone or any place for granted and therefore I am asking you to volunteer for a phone bank or a canvass”. Crystal said. “Why should I expect when I’m going to work and doing my job that I might be victimized, and it’s just a Tuesday?”
