Clinton Launches “Hats for Hillary” Infrastructure Plan
Joined by Mayor Marty Walsh (D – Boston), Clinton spoke about her jobs plan and her new infrastructure plan, “Hard Hats for Hillary”.

Clinton’s plan to increase the federal government’s spending on infrastructure by $275 billion over the next five years will be fully paid for by changing how businesses are taxed, a campaign aide said, without providing any details. Over the next weeks, Clinton will announce additional proposals which focus on job creation.
“With Hillary Clinton’s spending binge already at a trillion dollars and counting, it’s clear she wants to treat Americans’ tax dollars like every day is Black Friday with no plan to pay the bill”. She emphasized that the country’s infrastructure- airports, bridges, electric grids, railways, and roads need repairs.
“Look, I voted numerous times, when I was a senator, to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in”, she said, “and I do think you have to control your borders”.
Mrs. Clinton had previously said Mr. Blumenthal’s messages to her were unsolicited.
“We should not be trapped in perpetual warfare in the Middle East year after year after year”, he said. Clinton, much like her husband back in 1992 against Harkin, Tsongas and Jerry Brown, is counting heavily on support from these voters and Sanders hasn’t made inroads with these voters so far.
Deny, deny, deny. Clinton, as a lawyer, is trained not to disclose things unnecessarily, and is a master at it. The revelations about her private e-mail server at the State Department – an obvious attempt to circumvent public records scrutiny – are the most recent example of this strategy. Instead, campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said “Secretary Clinton turned over all of her work emails, 55,000 pages of them, and asked that they be released to the public”. Walsh said he waited for the field of Democratic candidates to take shape before deciding to endorse Clinton.
While many of their GOP counterparts hesitated to discuss publicly the abortion clinic shooting in Colorado Springs, the Democratic field used the massacre to call for new gun laws and stronger protection of women’s health while campaigning here.
Some have questioned whether Hillary truly stands with the union workers who cheered her so heartily in Boston today.

Mrs. Clinton plans to allocate $250 billion for direct federal spending on infrastructure. But the influence of Pepsico on State after grants in 2008 to the Clinton Foundation totaling more than $7.6 million should raise a few eyebrows, especially among those – mainly on the Left, but not exclusively so – who regularly rail on about corporate power in America.
