Clinton leading in latest polls against Trump

In the latest McClatchy-Marist poll, Clinton and Tim Kaine have a wide lead over Donald Trump and Mike Pence, commanding 15-point lead over Trump in the presidential contest. Tim Kaine, and a 10-point lead in MI, one of the industrial Midwestern states that Trump has vowed to contest.

Yet another poll released since the Democratic National Convention ended last week shows Hillary Clinton with a substantial and apparently holding lead against her Republican challenger, Donald Trump. “And I think she (Clinton) did a better job of that.”The poll surveyed 321 Democrats, 257 Republicans and 83 independents, a mix picked to reflect the statewide voter rolls”. Leaders of Trump’s Republican Party last week distanced themselves from his spat with Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the American Muslim Gold Star parents who criticized Trump at last month’s Democratic National Convention.
