Yes, despite being cash poor, Trump’s campaign still found ways to spend money on businesses that were owned by Trump himself. A majority-54 percent-say Clinton would be better in handling an worldwide crisis while 39 percent think Trump would be. For months, the biggest cash injections into his campaign coffers were from his personal bank accounts. He said Republican Party chairman Reince Priebus “has been terrific” but he needs more help from other GOP leaders. Trump is more honest and trustworthy (43 percent to 40 percent).
The news came on the same day Trump dumped his controversial campaign manager as he tried to revitalize his White House bid after recent stumbles.
According to the latest survey conducted by Monmouth University, Mrs Clinton would have attracted 49 per cent of the national vote to Mr Trump’s 41 per cent if the election had been held last weekend.
Mr. Trump’s fight with a federal judge over Trump University and his taking credit for predicting the Orlando massacre were both petty issues that cast Mr. Trump in a negative light and said nothing to the American public about how Mr. Trump planned on making their lives great again – a message voters want to hear. The RNC had $20 million in May, a fraction of the $60 million they had the same month in 2012 when Mitt Romney was the nominee.
That approach ultimately lost out to top GOP officials, donors and Trump’s adult children, who have long-harbored concerns about Lewandowski’s brusque manner and limited national campaign experience.
Trump brushed off questions about the disparity on Tuesday, telling NBC’s TODAY that he’s “raised a lot of money” in the past week and will dip into his own pockets if needed.
By wide margins, voters in each state say Clinton is better prepared than Trump to be president; that she is more intelligent than Trump and that she has higher moral standards.
Trump’s fundraising efforts brought in $3.1 million in May, according to new financial disclosure reports, while the candidate loaned his own campaign $2.2 million.
Sanders and his supporters consistently assert that he would be a better general election candidate against Trump than Clinton.
Cruz, who exited the race on May 3, raised almost as much money as Trump in May – about $2.7 million to Trump’s $5.6 million – and ended the month with five times more cash on hand, with $6.8 million to Trump’s $1.3 million.
Trump, on the other hand, hasn’t bought any television advertising since early May, when he spent a small amount for ads in IN and Nebraska. His campaign started June with $1.3 million in the bank; hers, with $42 million. The Democrat is also seen as more inspiring by 44 percent while 42 percent think Trump is. Two remaining pro-Trump groups are yet to disclose their fundraising position, but will do so next month.

However, he added that “now we’re going a different way”.
