Clinton leads Trump by 5 points in White House race – Reuters/Ipsos

“The records we need to see are those being hidden, deleted, obstructed and stashed away by Hillary Clinton to keep authorities from untangling this corrupt scheme that reaches into the world’s shady corridors of power”, he said. “Just nice and easy”, said Trump.

Gutierrez added: “I haven’t heard an economic concept come out of Trump’s mouth except for protectionism and lower taxes”.

NY billionaire Donald Trumpofficially accepted the presidential nomination of the U.S. Republican Party Thursday night on the final day of the Republican National Convention.

“You know, no Republican other than me will campaign in NY”, he said at a rally in IN in April.

Trump is acting as if he is still in the more welcoming world of the Republican primaries, in which 31 million people voted.

Sean Spicer, RNC communications director, said in a telephone interview that abandoning Trump with almost three months to go to the November 8 election “doesn’t make logical sense”.

Hillary Clinton is starting to spend a little money in Georgia and Arizona, states that any Republican running for president ought to be able to count on. He says he and Priebus are friends and work well together and that they have “great unification”. Like Clinton, Obama made it a campaign issue.

Clinton’s campaign also released 10 years of returns from running mate Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton.

Priebus alluded to the negative headlines, imploring the crowd to ignore “the garbage you’re reading” and vowing to put Trump in the White House.

But Mr Trump said he wanted to ensure that Mrs Clinton’s supporters did not vote multiple times, citing concerns about voter fraud.

But the release wasn’t about their federal tax rate of 34.2 percent or the fact they made $10.6 million-less than half of the $28 million they made in 2014.

The release comes as Clinton seeks to apply pressure to Republican opponent Donald Trump, who has not released his tax returns, and sow doubt about the businessman’s honesty and civic participation.

Departing from 40 years of tradition for presidential candidates, Trump has so far refused to release any of his tax returns for public inspection.

Only 36% of voters now think Trump is “in touch with the problems ordinary Americans face in their daily lives”, according to a CNN/ORC poll released August 1.

Clinton, who has said she is one of the most transparent presidential candidates in history, has acknowledged her use of the private email server was a mistake but said she properly handled all classified information. The Clintons paid 34.2 percent past year – nearly twice that.

Given their long tenure in public service, the Clintons release their tax returns publically about as often as most people file their actual taxes.

“I would say they could be tried there”, Trump said. He has said of both remarks that they were sarcasm misinterpreted by the media.

The US presidential election is an indirect one – voters in each state technically pick a slate of party electors – not one of the candidates – when they cast their ballots.

Others, however, say they worry paid advertising is a waste of time if the candidate doesn’t effectively mirror the messages in “earned media” — what Trump says on the stump or in interviews.

The lone piece of good news for Trump in our latest rankings is that we are moving Nevada from “lean Democratic” to “toss-up” given that polling shows a close race in the state.
