Clinton leads Trump by six points in latest Reuters/Ipsos poll
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has a six-percentage-point lead over Republican rival Donald Trump, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll released.

In a separate poll in which Libertarian nominee Gary JohnsonGary JohnsonPoll: Clinton leads Trump by 6 points Poll: Clinton pulling away from Trump in Florida Libertarian ticket raises nearly million in two weeks MORE and the Green Party’s Jill Stein were included, Clinton maintained that 6-point lead over the GOP nominee. Trump leads Clinton by 8 points among this group, but four years ago Romney won white voters by a 24-point margin. Only 19 percent of Republican voters and those who lean that way said Trump has the personality to serve effectively.
The latest ABC News/ Washington Post national poll shows that Trump beats Clinton among white voters, yet, Clinton boasts strong support among nonwhites, a growing share of the US population.
Trump’s support has experienced wider shifts ranging from 33 percent to 39 percent while his campaign has endured controversies and distractions in recent weeks.
As for the state’s senate race, GOP incumbent Sen. When matched up against Rep. Alan Grayson, Rubio is 11 points ahead, 50%-39%.
Meanwhile, in Virginia, Clinton continues to maintain a double-digit lead over Trump. The poll has a margin of error of 3.2 percentage points.
The poll was conducted by phone Friday through Monday, sampling 402 Florida residents likely to vote in November.

The Monmouth University telephone poll, conducted August 12-15, included 402 Florida residents likely to vote and had a 4.9-point margin of error. The Washington Post poll, conducted August 11-14 by telephone, included 888 registered voters with a 4-point margin of error and 707 likely voters with a 4.5-point margin of error.
