Clinton makes her case, and history, as first woman nominee
She also will continue to woo moderate Republicans who may be unnerved by Trump, but unconvinced by her.

The first woman to lead a major US political party toward the White House, Clinton will be greeted Thursday by a crowd of cheering delegates eager to see history made in the November election.
Thursday marks the end of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Hillary Clinton will be introduced Thursday night by the woman who knows her simply as mom.
But Clinton faces a major trust deficit among a USA public that has followed every Clintonian turn of the past quarter century.
Trump, however, couldn’t help himself, firing off a string of tweets immediately after Clinton’s speech.
JENNIFER PALMIERI, Clinton Campaign Communications Director: This is a moment of reckoning for America, and we have two paths that we can take, one that seeks division, one that gives into forces that we are facing, whether they are economic or social, that could divide us, vs. a path that, in working together, is going to make America stronger.
Early in her speech, Clinton thanked her primary opponent Bernie Sanders, saying that his “campaign inspired millions of Americans, particularly the young people who threw their hearts and souls into our primary”.
“No matter how daunting the odds, no matter how much people try to knock her down, she never, ever quits”.
Following reports Russian Federation hacked Democratic Party emails, Trump said he’d like to see Moscow find the thousands of emails Clinton deleted from the account she used as secretary of state.
Trump did his best to steal the spotlight Wednesday.
On Thursday, Clinton will have to make the case herself.
Some Democrats still aren’t convinced, a sentiment underscored by the protests of a small but boisterous set of supporters of her primary challenger Bernie Sanders.
President Barack Obama, Vice-President Joe Biden and Mrs Clinton’s running mate, Tim Kaine, spoke passionately and powerfully about why she is qualified to sit in the Oval Office and why Donald Trump is not.
But Mrs Clinton’s biggest problem with voters is that they do not trust her.
She will balance her policy strengths with an attempt to connect with Americans watching from their living rooms as she faces a nation divided by intense campaign rhetoric, spikes in race-related gun violence, and heightened fear brought about by a spate of terror attacks around the world. Hillary Clinton talks about her too, often telling a story about toddler Chelsea asking her to stop singing lullabies.

“We do know that there’s a slice, however narrow, of those persuadable voters that are still making up their minds”, Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said.
