Its goal was ostensibly to give viewers a better feel for Clinton as a person – as she said in her subsequent speech, “The truth is, through all these years of public service, the “service” part has always come easier to me than the “public” part”.
Mrs Clinton said her presidential nomination was a milestone on America’s “march toward a more flawless union”. “Not because we resent success”. “Hillary’s passion is kids and families”. That is the only way we can turn our progressive platform into real change for America. “And we’ll put that money to work where it belongs – creating jobs here at home!” she warned.
