Clinton nods to populist fervor in first response to Brexit
When asked about the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union, which has dominated the news here and around the globe, Trump said the major change will not impact the United States “if it’s done properly, if we had proper leadership”.

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook acknowledged parallels between the populist anger and anti-establishment fervour that fuelled the Brexit vote and Trump’s rise to the nomination, but said the Republican candidate’s reaction showed he was not fit to occupy the White House.
“Every president is tested by world events, but Donald Trump thinks about how his golf resort can profit from them”, said the 30-second ad.
“I think what separates Donald Trump from the other candidates is this: He is pro-American”, said Benson, 40, who works in the power industry.
In Florida, 63 percent feel Hillary Clinton’s response to the Orlando tragedy showed compassion for the victims, while 46 percent feel Trump’s response did.

Mook also called out Trump for not releasing his taxes and says it has been a “given for decades that presidential candidates release their taxes”.
The Washington Post/ABC News poll surveyed 1,001 adults between June 20-23 with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
There were signs and promises that Trump would be getting his act together and a run more mainstream campaign.

A Washington Post-ABC News poll said support for Trump, the billionaire real estate mogul making his first try for elected office, has plunged in recent weeks, giving Clinton a 51-to-39 percent edge nationwide among registered voters.
