The official endorsement came after Obama held a one-hour Oval Office meeting with Sanders, the impassioned Vermont senator who has won the support of millions of people, especially younger voters.

Bernie Sanders says he and Hillary Clinton are set to talk Tuesday evening after the final Democratic presidency primary about “her campaign” and whether it reflects his progressive agenda.
A look at the 2008 and 2016 Democratic primaries show that black voters across the South and in heavily Democratic cities have fueled key wins and delegate advantages in the drawn-out contests. Some will come from people who supported a different candidate for the nomination, but who always meant to support their party’s eventual nominee. “Dependent on how Secretary Clinton comes down on many of these major issues will determine how closely we can work with her”.
In response to his perceived mistreatment, Sanders has lent his popularity to a once-nascent challenger to Schultz for her seat in Congress. Sanders endorsed Tim Canova, a move that raised almost a quarter million dollars for the Democrat insurgent. The Republicans, meanwhile, are deep in disunity over the fallout of Donald Trump’s selection and his divisive behavior. “I think the idea that 400 superdelegates were on board Secretary Clinton’s campaign eight months or nine months before the first ballot was cast in Iowa is totally absurd”.
The Clinton ad uses footage of Trump onstage, flailing his arms in an apparent attempt to mimic New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a congenital condition that restricts joint movement.

But he also said that “we will not allow Donald Trump to become president of the United States”, and that, in regards to Clinton, “our fight is to transform this country and to understand that we are in this together”.
Democrat presidential candidate Sen. He has run a brilliant campaign, invigorated the left, pushed Clinton in his direction and made his populist politics ascendant in the Democratic Party.
Despite the mud-slinging against Warren, Clinton would be wise to choose Warren as her vice presidential candidate, because when Clinton gets tough and attacks other candidates, her already low favorability ratings drop even further. He acknowledged the tragedy – then said he would not drop out of the race and endorse Clinton until he’s convinced she’s committed to fighting wealth disparity. House Speaker Paul Ryan labeled Mr. Trump’s remark “the textbook definition of a racist comment”.

President Obama unintentionally damaged his legacy the other day by urging an expansion of Social Security benefits and, thereby, reminding everyone (and particularly future historians) that he failed to deal with one of the largest issues facing the country: an aging society.
