To help Clinton prove her bona fides, Kimmel had her open a jar of pickles on the live-to-tape broadcast, a photo of which can be seen above.

Clinton dismissed the claims that she’s ill as “part of the wacky strategy” against her during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in Los Angeles.

One schoolyard rumor spread by some of Trump’s supporters involves Clinton’s supposedly ailing health. “I mean, as far as I can tell he’s healthy as a horse”.

Appearing on a day when a federal judge ordered the release of an additional 15,000 State Department emails gathered during the course of the FBI investigation into her private email server, Clinton said she wasn’t anxious about another round of disclosures.

The rumors about Clinton’s health appear to stem from a 2012 incident when she sustained a head injury from a fall that was attributed to a stomach virus.

“I’d prefer to be running against somebody I thought was qualified to be President and temperamentally fit to be commander-in-chief”, Clinton admitted. She suffered a concussion and a subsequent blood clot in the brain, which later testing showed as having completely cleared. “But you’ve got to be prepared for wacky stuff that comes at you. So with every breath I take, I feel like it’s … a new lease on life”, Clinton explained.

Jimmy Kimmel presented her with the challenge during an appearance Monday on his ABC late-night talk show.

Clinton also commented on an issue that her campaign is now grappling with: How to prepare for debates against Trump. Kimmel suggested that actor Gary Busey might play a good Donald Trump.

“Have you considered using FaceTime instead of email?” “So I want to take it seriously”, Clinton continued.
