Clinton or Trump: Americans can not decide who to choose
In May, after mostly self-funding his campaign, Trump pulled in only $5.4 million, much less than his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, who raised more than $25 million in the same month.

Clinton said Republicans holding or seeking office across the country should be pressed on whether they agree with Trump’s comments, including his views on Putin and USA generals that surfaced during the forum.
Clinton elaborated on those remarks at the Thursday press conference, saying putting a significant number of U.S. troops on the ground in Iraq and Syria would “fulfill one of (ISIS’) dearest wishes which is to drag the United States back into a ground war in that region”.
During a new conference Thursday before she started a day of campaigning in North Carolina and Missouri, Clinton stood by the comment, saying that ISIS has “said that they hope (Trump) is the president because it would give even more motivation to every jihadi”. Both candidates believe they have the upper hand, with Clinton contrasting her experience with Trump’s unpredictability and the Republican arguing that Americans anxious about their safety will be left with more of the same if they elect Obama’s former secretary of state.
Just over 6 in 10, 62%, say the way Clinton handled her email while serving as secretary of state is an important indicator of her character and ability to serve as president, just 36% say it has no bearing on her character or abilities. No Republican has won the White House without winning Ohio and Trump is trying to overcome some splintering in the state party, which was supportive of Ohio Gov. John Kasich during the presidential primary.
As her new jet – a Boeing 737-800 that seats about 100 people – landed, it parked on the tarmac separated from Trump’s plane only by the space of about two football fields.
Some of Trump’s foreign policy positions, such as his proposal to fight terrorism by imposing a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country, have alarmed not just Democrats but many in his own party’s leadership.
Trump and Clinton’s intensifying political combat over national security came as Clinton’s lead in opinion polls has slipped in recent days.
Clinton and Trump are also in a virtual tie in OH, while her lead over Trump has shrunk to 4 points in North Carolina and to 5 points in Pennsylvania.
Clinton has pointed to Trump’s performance at Wednesday night’s forum, which focused on military issues, as evidence that a Trump presidency would put the country at risk. “I find it frustrating, but it’s part of the landscape we live in”.
Trump underscored his view that allowing men and women to serve alongside each other is the cause of sexual assault cases in the military. She also acknowledged her mistake of voting to authorize the use of military force in Iraq when she was still a senator.

During the forum, Trump also insisted on repeating a claim that has been previously debunked – that the businessman was “totally against the war in Iraq”. That assertion is contradicted by an interview Trump did with Howard Stern in September 2002 in which he was asked whether he supported the invasion. Asked to square his request for military options with that criticism, Trump said simply: “They’ll probably be different generals”. Clinton said “I regret saying “half” – that was wrong”.
