Clinton plans to release tax returns, hoping Trump will follow
“One of my first acts as president will be to repeal and replace disastrous Obamacare, saving another 2 million American jobs”, said Trump.

“I’m nearly at the point where I think I’m going to vote for Hillary”.
Correspondent Lisa Desjardins has our report.
She also took advantage of Trump’s trouble garnering support from many in the conservative base: “Even conservative experts say Trump’s agenda will pull our economy into a recession”. The mines will be gone if she gets elected.
LISA DESJARDINS: That was Trump on offense. Clinton responded yesterday to Trump’s suggestion at an Iowa rally, saying, “words matter”. “When Donald Trump visited Detroit on Monday, he talked only of failure, poverty and crime”. There can be no other interpretation. “But I’ll tell you what, that will be a disgusting day”, he added.
“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS”.
“It’s called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have incredible spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power”. It’s a political power.
Trump, however, has declined to release any of his tax returns, citing the fact that he is under IRS audit.
“Your glib and horrifying comment about “Second Amendment people” was heard around the world”. It sounds like just a joke gone bad. “But Mr. Trump is making me very nervous”.
“You should never joke about something like that”, he said. “And if you are running to be president or if you are president of the United States, words can have tremendous consequences”.
“He’s offered no credible plans to address what working families are up against today”, Clinton said.
US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has sparked uproar over controversial comments that some political observers interpreted as a threat of violence by gun activists against his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. The campaign unveiled a new website, togetherforamerica.com, that lists dozens of Republicans and independents who back Mrs Clinton, including former director of national intelligence John Negroponte.
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll taken August 5-8, showed that almost one-fifth of 396 registered Republicans said they want Trump to drop out of the race for the White House and another 10 percent said they “don’t know” whether the Republican nominee should or not. “This will lead to millions of new good-paying jobs”.
HILLARY CLINTON: I am humbled and moved by the Republicans who are willing to stand up and say that Donald Trump doesn’t represent their values. Clinton was not expected to come out with any major new policies during her remarks.
About 20 demonstrators called Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a criminal Thursday before she spoke at an automotive and aerospace production facility in Warren. Trump blasted his opponent over the issue.
On his campaign trail, Trump has had a number of self-destructive stumbles that cast a long shadow over his White House run as they call into question if he is presidential. If it’s true, it’s illegal. “I just don’t think insults and bullying is how we’re going to get things done”.
LISA DESJARDINS: With three months left in the election, the candidates are hitting hard and looking especially to big states.

But Clinton qualified that the extent to which Trump’s proposals would benefit him depends on how rich Trump really is.
