Trump’s attendance at the Values Voter Summit highlights how conservatives want social issues like abortion discussed in the presidential campaign.

Clinton’s campaign, though, seemed to suggest that Clinton only meant people who attend Trump’s rallies and actively support him – not all Trump voters. “They are Americans and they deserve your respect”, Pence added, as if addressing Clinton directly.
“I think this will be the last election that the Republicans have a chance of winning because you’re going to have people flowing across the border, you’re going to have illegal immigrants coming in and they’re going to be legalised and they’re going to be able to vote and once that all happens you can forget it”, he said. “Doesn’t really even matter where it comes from”, Clinton said. Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway slammed Clinton on Twitter for “placing people in “baskets” and insulting “millions of Americans”. With her statement she’s saying that no, she doesn’t actually believe that around 20 percent of Americans are part of “a basket of deplorables”.
Clinton then said some of these people were “irredeemable” and “not America”.

Hillary Clinton said half of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s supporters could be classified as a “basket of deplorables”.
Speaking at a fundraiser, she said they were “racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic – you name it”.
Clinton said Trump had given voice to hateful rhetoric through his behaviour as a candidate for the White House in the November 8 election. “But they are not America”.
Streisand also offered some praise of Clinton.
“I think it’s probably unlikely”. “At the very least, if you know anybody who’s even thinking of voting for Trump, stage an intervention”. “That may be one conversion therapy I endorse”.
She went on to say that “many of Trump’s supporters are hard-working Americans who just don’t feel like the economy or our political system are working for them”. I mean, you can say, ‘Oh, isn’t that a awful thing?’ The man has very strong control over a country. He argued that “alt-right” leaders are supporting Trump and “their supporters appear to make up half his crowd when you observe the tone of his events”.
Clinton’s rhetorical stumble came as the candidates head into the final two months of the campaign, with Trump trying to make up ground before the November 8 election.
Meanwhile, Trump’s camp lost no time in making the most of the attention on Clinton’s comments.
During a spirted speech focused on the LGBT community, Clinton also made a joke that referenced conversion therapy, type of counseling created to urge gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender children to change their sexual orientation.
A foreign policy and defense hawk who was among 17 Repubilcan candidates for president previous year, Graham said he might not agree with Obama on most issues, but suggesting he is weaker than Putin is a step too far. Trump said in a tweet. “Nick, it’s simply untrue”.
He described Clinton as a “massive failure”, while she served as the country’s top diplomat from 2009 to early 2013.

“When Mike Pence said that, I just had to reflect that if you don’t know the difference between leadership and dictatorship, then where do I start with you?” said Kaine, a senator from Virginia.
