Clinton regrets criticizing half of Trump supporters
U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton says half of the supporters of her Republican rival Donald Trump belong in a “basket of deplorables”.

Huckabee took an unconventional approach to his criticism, composing a short poem.
“Hillary Clinton’s 47% Moment: Calls Trump Supporters ‘Racist, Sexist, Homophobic, Xenophobic, Islamophobic, ‘” Breitbart (the most pro-Trump media outlet on the internet that has become a haven to the white-nationalist alt-right) proclaimed on Friday.
The truth of the matter is that the men and women who support Donald Trump’s campaign are hard-working Americans.
Hillary Clinton should not have described “half” of Donald Trump’s supporters as deplorable.
Clinton said Trump had given voice to hateful rhetoric through his behaviour as a candidate for the White House in the November 8 election. Real strength is leveling with the American people and making it clear, we will defeat ISIS. “I frankly shudder to think what he could to US interests as commander-in-chief and president”, Farkas, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, told NBC News. Libertarian Party candidate and former Gov. Gary Johnson is now polling at just 6.5%, down from a high of 10.6% at the end of August.
She continued: “Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but they are not America but the other basket … are people who feel that government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures”.
During his speech Friday night in Pensacola, Trump strayed from prepared remarks to suggest that Clinton is so immune from prosecution she could get away with murder.
Forty-eight percent of likely voters who said they were backing Trump were highly motivated to vote this fall, compared with 36 percent of Clinton supporters who said the same about their candidate.
The advice is contained in a memo – titled ” “Deplorable” Comment Talking Points” – sent out Saturday afternoon to Clinton surrogates preparing for television interviews or other appearances in support of the former secretary of state. Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, called for Clinton to apologise, something that Trump himself has never done in the face of controversy. Merrill argued that “alt-right” leaders are supporting Trump and “their supporters appear to make up half his crowd when you observe the tone of his events”.
Additionally, Trump’s supporters said they were actively monitoring the trends and a whopping 93 per cent said they were “absolutely certain to vote”. “Millions of awesome, hard-working people”. Trump tweeted Saturday. “While Hillary said frightful things about my supporters, and while many of her supporters will never vote for me, I still respect them all!” But reporters traveling with her campaign were not allowed in and did not see her.
Trump and his supporters quickly pounced on the remark.
The donor said if Trump wins, the US would “fall backward and become more isolated from the global community”. A majority are critical of Clinton’s ethics and Trump’s qualifications and statements against minorities in America.
“I’ve not heard that level of disdain for Americans, that I can’t even repeat, since Barack Obama described people that oppose him as people that cling to their guns and religion”, Pence said.

A brief episode of what was said to be heat exhaustion suffered by Hillary Clinton during a 9/11 memorial event in New York City could finally ignite debate about her health, something Trump Republicans have repeatedly tried to kindle over the past few days.
