Clinton Regrets Saying Half Of Trump’s Supporters Are Racist
Trump took the stage Friday before a fiery crowd of supporters who had just heard a blistering and vitriolic critique of Clinton’s email use from Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and federal prosecutor who loudly argued that Clinton had committed “crimes” and should have been prosecuted. Hillary, they are not a basket of anything.

“They are Americans and they deserve your respect”, Pence added, as if addressing Clinton directly. Moreover, in several swing states, such as Florida and Ohio, Trump has gained ground in recent weeks.
Trump tweeted Clinton’s comments were “insulting” and suggested they’ll hurt her poll numbers. “And she wouldn’t be prosecuted”.
He later compared Clinton’s statement to Republican Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign gaffe, when he said that 47 percent of the people would vote for Barack Obama’s re-election because they are “dependent upon government”, and “believe that they are victims”. “It’s like incredible”, he said. She said that Friday night at a fundraiser in NY. Now he says his rival Hillary Clinton could shoot someone in an arena in front of 20,000 people and not be prosecuted. And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up. “Nearly 15 million people watched the event, and over 26 million tuned in at some point during the hour”.
Speaking at a LGBT fundraiser in New York, Clinton said Trump had given voice to hateful rhetoric through his behaviour as a candidate for the White House in the November 8 election. “For the first time in a long while, her true feelings came out, showing bigotry and hatred for millions of Americans”, he said.
“I regret saying “half”-that was wrong”, Clinton said”.
“As I said”, she added, “many of Trump’s supporters are hard-working Americans who just don’t feel like the economy or our political system are working for them”.
When we wake up on November 9, wondering whether Mr. Trump will wear the fake tan to his inauguration, remember that Clinton, like Marie and one at before her, said that from the perspective of the elite, The people can eat cake if they have no bread. “Those are people who we have to understand and empathize with as well”.
He says she’s smeared many Americans and will pay a heavy political price.
Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill noted a previous speech in which she accused Trump of embracing a brand of USA political conservatism associated with white nationalism and nativism known as the “alt-right” movement. Some followers sometimes refer to themselves as “Europeanists” or “white nationalists”, rejecting the labels of racist and white supremacist.
But the moment recalled comments about voters – also at private fundraisers – that have tripped up presidential nominees in the past.
During the 2008 Democratic primary, then-Sen.
He said that Trump supporters are “not a basket of anything”, adding, they are “members of every class of this country who know that we can make America great again”. Trump called Clinton’s statement “disgraceful”, and a “grotesque attack on American voters”.
In an RNC conference call for reporters on Saturday afternoon, congresswoman Marsha Blackburn and pastor Darrell Scott, a long-time Trump supporter, insisted that Clinton’s comment displayed her “elitism”.

Mrs Clinton has made similar comments in the past. Clinton wants to end that practice.
