After previously complaining that the debate schedule was unfair and musing whether or not he’d actually show up, Republican nominee Donald Trump has confirmed on Monday that he will participate in all three presidential debates.

Before Monday, Clinton and the press corps had been traveling the country on separate charter planes, with limited interaction between the Democratic presidential nominee and those who cover her on a daily basis.

She was alluding to comments made by Trump at a July news conference, when he said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”. “And I think that’s a pretty clear outcome from that trip”, she added.
The Republican nominee vowed last week during a major speech in Phoenix that undocumented immigrants seeking legal status would “have one route and one route only: to return home and apply for reentry like everybody else”.
Clinton also said her husband, Bill Clinton, won’t step down from the Clinton Foundation unless she wins the general election – despite allegations it creates a conflict of interest.
While Trump still trails Clinton in many battleground states where the election will likely be decided, he has drawn close to even with her in some national polls and even inched ahead of the Democrat in others.
On the tarmac in Ohio, Mrs Clinton’s plane had been stationed side by side with the plane of Mr Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
“Hey, guys, welcome to our big plane, ” Clinton told about three dozen members of the news media occupying the plane’s final seven rows.
The candidate promised she would talk “more formally” with reporters later. However, the candidates’ schedules and ad buys show at least they consider OH as a top prize in the 2016 election.
The start of full-fledged campaigning opens a pivotal month, culminating in the first presidential debate on September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Polls show Trump trailing Clinton in a series of must-win battleground states, meaning the debates could be his best chance at reorienting the race.

Clinton will have millions of dollars at her disposal this fall to air television advertising and power a sophisticated get-out-the vote operation in key states.
