On Monday her campaign team said she was diagnosed with Pneumonia and now her personal doctor Dr. Lisa Bardack, who’s also the chair of Internal Medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York has released more information on her health following her decision to take three days off the campaign trail.

Clinton, following her doctor’s advice to rest and modify her schedule this week, cancelled her plans to campaign on the West Coast and has remained at home in Chappaqua, N.Y. since Sunday.

The statement said the Democratic presidential nominee “continues to improve” after a pneumonia diagnosis.

Her illness became public after she left Sunday’s 9/11 memorial service in NY early and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van. Trump has seized on those concerns, often questioning Clinton’s stamina and energy.

At a Wednesday evening rally in Canton, Ohio, Trump noted the room filled with 5,000 people was hot.

“This is a woman who works 20 hours a day and comes into contact with tens of thousands of people and you pick up germs and viruses and things like that and you get exhausted”, said Democratic Gov. Dannel Malloy of CT. “I don’t think so”. But voters will have to wait another day for details: the show does not air until Thursday.

She was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday but she kept it secret until she almost collapsed on Sunday at a ceremony in Manhattan marking the September 11, 2001, attacks.

But when Mrs Clinton takes her place once again behind the podium, she will also have to reassure the public that she has fully recovered and is fit to take on the most powerful role in the world.

As he did earlier in the day at a rally in Des Moines, Trump steered clear of mentioning Clinton’s illness but stepped up efforts to wring maximum advantage from her controversial comment that his supporters are “deplorables”.

The letter also notes that in January, during the run-up to the Iowa caucuses, Clinton developed a sinus and ear infection that was initially treated with antibiotics and steroids. The 70-year-old has blood pressure of 116 over 70, and his total cholesterol is 169, his doctor says. She remained symptom-free for six months, according to the letter.

The letter from Clinton’s doctor made no mention of her weight, a key part of any medical exam, nor did a similar letter released previous year. “This is very similar, in some ways, to what we got in July of past year”, Gupta said.

Testing that shows no evidence of plaque building up in her arteries “is all very reassuring”, he said.

Tanden recalled a time when Clinton, then a NY senator, refused to cancel a public service announcement she was scheduled to tape with Sesame Street even though she was sick.

At an event in Las Vegas, Bill Clinton said he was pleased to stand in for his wife – but then confused everyone by saying she had the flu.

Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s communications director, said the candidate’s break from the campaign trail helped her “sharpen the final argument she will present to voters in these closing weeks”. “It’s a insane time we live in, you know, when people think there’s something unusual about getting the flu”.

“OK, your turn”, Lehrich tweeted, linking to a page on Clinton’s campaign website that displayed letters from Clinton and running mate Tim Kaine’s doctors. He’s 5-foot-9 and weighed more than 208 pounds during his last physical in February.

For months, Donald Trump has scrutinized Clinton’s health, feeding into theories and conspiracies that her campaign is guarding certain information on the subject.

“It’s fair to say the public now knows more about Hillary Clinton than almost anyone in public life”, said campaign manager Robby Mook in a statement. In stark contrast, Donald Trump is hands down the least transparent presidential nominee in memory. And it begs the question: “what is he trying to hide?”

Although Trump is in the lead, experts say it’s by a very small margin compared to Mitt Romney, who led the Texas vote by 19 points against President Barack Obama back in 2012.

But ever the showman, he pulled an outline of results of an exam, conducted by his longtime physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, from his jacket pocket for Oz to review during Wednesday’s taping. “Those were all the tests that were just done last week”, Trump said in an excerpt released by the show.

Trump and Clinton are 70 and 68 years old respectively and whichever of them is elected will become the second oldest U.S. President behind Ronald Reagan. His Doctor Oz charade is as completely unserious as his original joke of a letter written in five minutes.
