United States presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she was “doing great” as she held her first rally after pneumonia forced her to take time out of the campaign trail.

The Democratic presidential nominee smiled and waved as she climbed the steps of her campaign plane in White Plains, New York.

Trump released a new letter from his doctor Thursday detailing his blood pressure, cholesterol and medications, one day after Clinton made public a letter from her physician with similar information.

Clinton’s doctor said she “continues to improve” after contracting a “mild, non-contagious” form of pneumonia diagnosed last Friday, two days before she grew dizzy and was seen losing her footing while leaving a ceremony in NY for the 15th anniversary of the Sept 11 terrorist attacks.

The campaign said she was overheated and dehydrated, and revealed she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Later Thursday, Clinton held a news conference where she addressed tightening polls between her and Trump.

“I don’t know folks, do you think Hillary Clinton would be able to stand up here for an hour?” he said. She vowed to close her campaign against Donald Trump by giving Americans “something to vote for, not just against”. Dr. Oz has said the health summary Mr. Trump showed him indicates Mr. Trump is healthy enough to be president.

Trump says he, too, plans to release details from a recent physical, though it’s unclear when that will happen and how much information he will provide.

Donald Trump said he weighs 107kg. Sixty-three percent of voter ssay Clinton is level-headed and 69 percent of voters say Trump is not.

She told reporters she is “doing great” before flying off to a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The same poll had Trump leading Clinton by just half a percentage point on August 20: 44.2 to 43.6 percent. Trump nearly certainly needs to carry the state in order to win the White House, while Clinton’s team is eager to block his path.

“This is where bigotry leads, and we can’t afford it, not here or anywhere else”, Clinton said.

Her return comes a day after her doctor said she was “healthy and fit”. Few businesses now pay the full 35 percent rate, taking advantage instead of many deductions in the existing tax code.

Later Thursday, Clinton and Obama separately addressed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute gala in Washington.
