Clinton’s doctor says she is ‘fit to serve’
Hillary Rodham Clinton and her husband paid close to $44 million in federal taxes since 2007 and she is “excellent physical condition” – two facts that emerged Friday in a flood of disclosures about the Democratic presidential candidate pushed out by her campaign on a busy summer day.

Clinton said she had earlier released tax returns from 1977 to 2006.
According to the statement, Clinton paid $43,885,310 in federal taxes and $13,625,777 in state taxes since 2007.
In her statement released Friday night, she reiterated that sentiment. It is not clear how much of that money went to The Clinton Foundation, their family’s philanthropic organization.
“We’ve come a long way from my days going door to door for the Children’s Defense Fund and earning $16,450 as a young law professor in Arkansas-and we owe it to the opportunities America provides”, Clinton said in a statement accompanying the returns. It addresses Clinton’s health in 2012, when she sustained a concussion after fainting – a result of a stomach virus and dehydration.
Bardack said testing the following year showed “complete resolution” of the concussion’s effects, including double vision, which Clinton wore glasses with special lenses to address.
Clinton has no known drug allergies, does not smoke, use tobacco products or illicit drugs and drinks occasionally, according to Bardack, who also details her exercise regime: yoga, swimming, walking and weight training.
Clinton’s campaign released her assessment of the former secretary of State on Friday following an examination earlier this week.
Not that Clinton is in ideal health. This number dates back to 1977.

The couple made almost $23 million from speaking fees alone in 2013 – the year Clinton left the State Department – and collected an additional $20 million from paid events last year. Not all of the tax returns are now online, but the official said the tax forms were made available during the Clinton’s first run at elected office.
