Clinton’s VP Pick Alleges Trump Isn’t ‘Paying His Fair Share of Taxes’
After accepting the Democratic vice presidential nomination, Kaine presented his life story and went straight at Hillary Clinton’s biggest challenge: that a significant number of Americans do not find her trustworthy. – Senator Tim Kaine today accepted his vice-presidential nomination at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) held in Philadelphia.

Espinoza said he worked with Kaine when the nominee was then the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Asked about his governing philosophy and what he has advised Kaine, Holton said, “Get the facts and make your decisions only after you know everything that is involved”.
PHILADELPHIA-Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine made his first bow on a national stage Wednesday night, imploring Delegates to the Democratic National Convention to defeat Donald Trump, who he called “a risky demagogue”.
But the Virginia senator’s speech also underscored his other, more unique, role on Clinton’s ticket: Validator-in-chief.
But in the end, Kaine returned to praising Clinton. “They respect you enough to tell you how they will get things done”, Kaine said. Some say she needs a non-controversial candidate due to her own problems with the FBI’s ongoing investigations into her emails. President Barack Obama advised Clinton’s campaign during the selection process that Kaine would be a strong choice.
You see, Donald Trump likes to tell people to “believe” he’ll get things done, but he never shows them how he’ll do that. “We were hoping she would pick someone like Elizabeth Warren”, said Greg Adams, a California Sanders delegate. Secret Service agents took up posts near the stage before he appeared, and the national press corps jockeyed for position alongside Virginia reporters. Biden shouted to cheers in the Wells Fargo Center. Kaine also served as the governor of Virginia from 2006-2010, but for the Democratic Party.
“Retirees and families in Florida believed Donald Trump when he said he’d build them condos”, Kaine said.
“Any party that would nominate Donald Trump for president has moved too far away from (the) party of Lincoln”, Kaine said, pointing to his father-in-law who was once the Republican governor of Virginia.
“Thomas declared all men equal, and Abigail remembered the women”. Elizabeth Warren of MA or Sherrod Brown of Ohio. Kaine now says he can’t support it in his current form, though many Sanders voters remain unconvinced. So he had awkward acts to follow, and-to an energetic, liberal, Obama-loving crowd-a tough act to open for.
Kaine’s allies say his record must be judged in totality.
Kaine, a former Virginia governor, was introduced by Clinton last weekend in Miami, where he switched easily between English and Spanish and spoke of his time as a Catholic missionary in Honduras, his work as a civil rights attorney and an education-focused governor who managed a state through tough times.
In true form, the denizens of the Internet duly responded to Kaine’s address.
“We should all feel the Bern”, Kaine said, “and we should all not want to get burned by the other guy!” If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article.
