Clinton, Sanders agree to debate in Brooklyn

He will need to replicate that in the remaining states with the three largest delegate allocations – California, New York and Pennsylvania – if he is to stand any hope of pulling off a shock and beating the former secretary of state to the party nomination.

Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager Jeff Weaver said Friday that Hillary Clinton’s resume qualifies her to be president but added that a person’s job history is not the only factor in picking the next commander in chief.

The delegates will be Oklahoma’s representatives at their respective party’s national convention this summer. Perhaps even more distressing than Mr. Sanders’ lead in recent Wisconsin polls, surveys also have shown the Vermont senator closing the gap in NY, the state Mrs. Clinton represented for eight years in the U.S. Senate.

Asked if she thought Sanders was qualified, Clinton said: “Yes”.

Clinton was a NY senator and Sanders was raised in Brooklyn. “I hope that we can get out of this mode, but we’re not going to be attacked in very negative ways without responding accordingly”.

Bachmann tweeted a video Friday from NY, showing Clinton how to “do the subway system” by making it through the turnstile with one swipe of her MetroCard. Wyoming resembles Idaho and Utah, both states where Sanders won landslide victories over Clinton. “I don’t think you are qualified if you supported the Panama free trade agreement, something I very strongly opposed, which has made it easier for wealthy people and corporations all over the world to avoid paying taxes owed to their countries”, he told a rally in Philadelphia on Wednesday. “I’m proud of the work that I did with so many thousands of New Yorkers, so of course I’m going to work incredibly hard”.

“The Clinton campaign disingenuously announced that it had agreed to a debate on another day when it knew very well that Sen”.

Democratic presidential candidates tried to shift attention back to Republicans Friday, calling for renewed focus on issues rather than on their dispute over qualifications to become president. “Anyone know that?” he asked the crowd.
