The event will be broadcast on CNN starting at 8 p.m., with host Anderson Cooper moderating.

Clinton narrowly defeated Sanders in the Iowa but the Vermont Senator has a comfortable lead over the former Secretary of State in New Hampshire.

Clinton supporters in the state have also started reaching out to people who backed former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who suspended his campaign earlier this week.

Clinton made it clear Wednesday that she’s in the game, telling an audience at the Derry Boys and Girls Club that she’s defying the “political pundits” who opine that she should skip New Hampshire in favor of states where she enjoys significant leads.

Like she has done in the past, Clinton alluded to her Christian faith, and brought up the parable of the prodigal son. “I’ve had to be in public, dealing with some very hard issues”.

After New Hampshire, the next-up primaries in Nevada and SC are tests for how well Sanders can perform among Latinos, who are a strong presence in Nevada, and African-Americans, who make up a majority of South Carolina’s Democratic electorate.

New Hampshire’s sizable contingent of independent voters – who are allowed to vote in either the Democratic or Republican primaries – will wield considerable power in the 2016 race.

“I respect the fact that I have work to do”, said Clinton. “Injustice bothered me very, very much”, he said.

“I’ve been an activist for a long time and she’s really inspiring”, Groenewal said of Clinton.

“Well, I don’t know”.

“I know that they tend to favor their neighbors”, she said on CNN’s “Situation Room” this week.

Clinton and Sanders want to boost funding for Planned Parenthood, the health care provider that performs abortions and is under attack by Republicans who want to stop government financial support.

Jim Demers, Obama’s 2008 New Hampshire co-chair and a noted gambler, offered this when asked if he would bet on Clinton: “First of all, I am a betting man. Second, I would look at the odds”.
