Clinton, Sanders put up spirited campaigns ahead of Tuesday primaries
With Clinton later adding, “Donald Trump is responsible for what happens at his events”.

When asked the same question by radiologist Amit Majmudar of Dublin, Ohio, who said he is a son of immigrant parents, Clinton pointed to her experience going up against Republicans. Naturally, as this Saturday Night Live parody ad shows, Clinton will solve this problem and get the young vote by … turning into Sanders himself.
Asked how she would beat Trump, Clinton said, she didn’t want to “spill the beans right now, but suffice it to say, there are many arguments that we can use against him”. I have 600,000 more votes than Donald Trump, and – and I am building a broad-based inclusive campaign that I think is the best way to defeat him by convincing people that this really is the highest stakes election that they have ever been involve dd in. His schedule Monday takes him from OH to North Carolina, and then back to Missouri before wrapping the night with a rally in Chicago.
“Donald trump is literally inciting violence with his supporters”, Sanders said of Trump’s weekend offer to pay the legal costs of the septuagenarian rally-goer who recently sucker punched a protester being led away by authorities.
“Bernie Sanders is lying when he says his disruptors aren’t told to go to my events”, Mr. Trump tweeted.
“Donald Trump is a pathological liar”, Sanders said.
“A candidate for president of the United States should condemn violence, not encourage violence”, the Democratic White House hopeful said at a rally in Columbus, Ohio.
Both were signed by President Bill Clinton while she was first lady.
Those numbers represent a huge leap for Sanders, who was trailing Clinton in an early March Chicago Tribune poll by more than two-to-one margins.
Clinton refused to name the dignitaries, though she says she told them that the election must be decided by Americans.
Sanders is leading Clinton in Missouri, and has cut into the Democratic frontrunner’s lead in OH and IL, according to a new survey the left-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP).
Clinton had been campaigning hard in the state, after losing the MI primary to Sanders among a similar electorate. “Thank God most people are not quite like Donald Trump”. “The divisive rhetoric we are seeing should be of grave concern to us all”, she said.
The change is particularly notable since several polls in OH at the beginning of the month showed Clinton with a 20 to 30-point lead over Sanders. “When we stand together, yes, we will have the power to take on the billionaire class. And yes, we will have the power to create a government that works for all of us and not just the one percent”. She answered, “Well, let’s start with what I think is the truth”.
“I’m not quite sure where Secretary Clinton got her information”.

“I am grateful that Congressman Sanders could join us today from Vermont”, Clinton said at that event.
