Right after Obama endorsed Clinton, Trump (on his favorite medium) hit her, Clinton immediately fired back, and things snowballed from there.

The endorsement increases pressure on Clinton’s rival, Bernie Sanders, to concede the Democrat race so the party can focus on campaigning against Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for the November 8 election.
Clinton’s address was a sharply symbolic choice for her first public appearance since Tuesday’s victory speech after clinching the nomination: a predominantly female crowd, waving bubblegum-pink signs bearing her name, defending a women’s health group that’s under constant threat from Republicans.
Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 11 points in the USA presidential race, showing little change after she became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee this week, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.
“[Trump is a] loud, nasty, thin-skinned fraud who has never risked anything for anyone and who serves no one but himself”, she told the audience.
And with a comeback three words long, Clinton was able to give it to Trump. “When Donald Trump says ‘let’s make America great again, ‘ that is code for let’s take America backward”, Clinton said in her address.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has delivered a surprisingly strong and sometimes harsh challenge to Hillary Clinton during the primaries.

Having trailed the former secretary of state for most of the year, Trump virtually closed the gap and pulled about even with the former first lady over the past few months.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Obama and Sanders had a “friendly” meeting and discussed the possibility of working together in the future on ways to energize and engage younger voters.
There is one party member who might sway Sanders supporters: Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

The senator said his campaign has been about “building a movement” to create a government that represents all Americans, not just the wealthiest. Trump has lashed back, labeling her “Goofy Elizabeth Warren” and ridiculing her claims to Native American heritage. “That’s why I know Hillary will be so good at it”, Obama said. And the Sanders supporters who now say they would vote for Clinton in the fall, 70% say it’s because they don’t like Trump, and not because they like Clinton.
