Clinton says she regrets calling Trump backers…
Hillary Clinton is also expected to visit Ground Zero on Sunday. It is not clear whether the two will cross paths, and neither candidate is expected to make public remarks.

Trump’s campaign pounced on Clinton’s candid views.
It might not be intentional, but there appears to be an arms race between the campaigns of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to see who can gather more endorsements from military officials.
“Unfortunately there are people like that”.
Trump is calling Clinton’s comments a “grotesque attack” and questioning how she can be president when “she has such contempt and disdain for so many great Americans”.
Trump noted that Schlafly rooted for the underdog, and “the idea that so-called little people, or the little person that she loved so much, could beat the system – often times, the rigged system”.
A Trump rep told CNN the interview was recorded as a podcast and was a favor to King, adding, “Mr. Trump was never told it would be shared anywhere else”, and that Trump would not have agreed to do the interview had he known.
He sought to lock up a commitment from the key evangelical and social conservative voting bloc, four years after millions of them stayed home instead of supporting Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
The Republican nominee arrived Saturday with his wife, Melania, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, where the funeral will be held.
Hillary Clinton said today she was “wrong” to say that “half” of Donald Trump’s supporters were “deplorables” and “irredeemable”, remarks she made at the LGBT For Hillary Gala, a fundraiser at which Barbra Streisand and Rufus Wainwright performed.
Saturday morning, however, she apologized for her phrasing. “It’s another to attack the people who support him”, said Smith, who worked for former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley’s presidential bid.
Clinton, in making her “basket of deplorables” comment, seemed to acknowledge that she was about to oversimplify things. There are what I call the deplorables – the racists, you know, the haters, and the people who are drawn because they think somehow he’s going to restore an America that no longer exists.
She went on to “remind” everyone that she has empathy for the other half of the basket of Trump supporters but won’t stop “calling out bigotry and racist rhetoric in this campaign”.
Mr Trump responded to Mrs Clinton’s suggestion that half his supporters were worthy of condemnation by saying the comment insulted “millions of wonderful, hard working people”.
Clinton’s comments, in contrast, are clearly about people who were already voting for her opponent.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has taken aim at supporters of Republican rival Donald Trump, saying half of them belong in a “basket of deplorables” as people who are racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic, or Islamophobic.
He also pledged to protect American soldiers: “To all those who have served this nation, I say: I will never let you down”.
