Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton had polar opposite reactions to this weekend’s nonfatal bombings in NY and New Jersey.

“I’m the only candidate in this race that has been part of the hard decisions to take terrorists off the battlefield”, she said.

Pivoting 180, Trump added, “I’ve worked pretty well within the system”. Retirees, people with steady jobs and people who own their own homes are frequent voters because they don’t have to re-register to vote after moving as much and they can make time to get to the polls.

Trump saw a 16.5 percentage-point increase in backing from African-American voters in a Los Angeles Times/University of Southern California tracking poll, up from 3.1 percent on September 10 to 19.6 percent through Friday.

Forty-three per cent of Republicans said that Trump was not the best pick to be the party’s nominee, while 41 per cent of Democrats suggested the same of Clinton, a stunning level of regret in the electorate with 51 days until Election Day.

“Our local police, they know who a lot of these people are”.

“Our campaign just really isn’t focused on the past”, Pence said.

“Thousands of people are pouring into our country, we have no idea what we are doing”, he said.

Peter Feaver, a political science professor at Duke University who worked on the National Security Council under Republican President George W. Bush, said Clinton was trying to argue Trump did not pass the commander in chief test.

She insinuated that Islamic militants, particularly those affiliated with ISIS, are rooting for Trump to win the White House.

The campaign said Clinton’s event on Monday would emphasize policies to attract young voters including debt-free college education. “And I will tell you, if you choose Donald Trump (in the November elections), these problems are going to go away”.

This election marks the first presidential campaign in which millennials make up the single largest generation among U.S. adults, having surpassed baby boomers during the past four years.

Trump told a crowd at a rally in Colorado Springs Saturday night that “a bomb went off in New York” immediately following the explosion, before law enforcement commented officially on what had happened. Trump announced plans to meet with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi on Monday.

Speaking to reporters on the tarmac of the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York Monday morning, the Democratic presidential candidate said her opponent’s bombastic language has aided our enemies.
