Clinton set to make history at DNC
During her first two decades, Hillary canvassed door-to-door for Richard Nixon in 1960, was a Goldwater Girl supporting the 1964 GOP nominee Barry Goldwater, and led Wellesley College’s Young Republicans chapter for a short period. “This is bound to help her. She laid out a positive agenda while going after Donald Trump effectively”. The former First Lady is the first woman to head a major party ticket.

Some of the women interviewed took for granted that Mrs. Clinton would be hit with nasty attacks, like the recent chants of “lock her up” at the Republican convention. She said that now even my daughter could be president!
Clinton is both a flawed person like the rest of us and an undeniable symbol of human progress.
The political convention season concluded Thursday when Hillary Clinton accepted the Democrat Party’s nomination for President. Paying tribute to “mothers who lost children to violence and are building a movement to keep others safe”, HRC reiterated her commitment to women like Sybrina Fulton, Gwen Carr, and Lucy McBath – strong moms who, while still grieving the deaths of their children, are working to see real change.
“We will not build a wall?instead, we will build an economy where everyone who wants a good job can get one…”
Even though women are interrupted more often and talk less than men, people still think women talk more.
Research has consistently shown that equally qualified men and women are evaluated unequally.
A Rutgers University Center for American Women in Politics study found that women make up less than 20 percent of Congress. Only one in four state legislators are women and there are only six female governors.
Hillary Clinton used the biggest speech of her career to reach across the political aisle to voters mortified by their own party’s choice. “This is about my life and my granddaughter’s. I don’t think I can express how much it really, really does mean to me”. This is just the kickoff to the general election. She’s been glued to her television all day waiting to watch Clinton break the glass ceiling. On these, and many other top issues, there are no – or only modest – differences in the views of men and women.
We can trust Hillary’s passion and dedication to making sure women and our kids have access to affordable health care. Women who support Clinton are certainly trying to make the case that every woman in America should be invested in the outcome of the election. According to Pew, younger women were less likely to give female leaders an edge over male leaders. “Happy for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between”, Clinton said in her speech on Thursday. “[Clinton] basically got a get-out-of-jail-free card”.

“I may become the first woman president, but one of you is next”, Clinton said via satellite to the DNC. People admire her for shattering tradition – but they don’t necessarily like her for it. “I’m going to double down on this party that just presented the most progressive platform in history, and we’re going to elect Hillary Clinton because frankly, the alternative will be devastating”.
