Lou Agre, a Sanders delegate from Philadelphia, called the Democrats’ platform, which Sanders had a significant hand in crafting “the most progressive platform in our party’s history”.

“I do question her judgment”, he said in the video. “I really hope that Hillary can use him in her administration and implement some of his ideas in the administration”.

“I understand why they were formed but I think at this stage of the game they need to leave because they’re part of the problem not the solution”, said Dioletis.

Putting aside the acrimony, Ms Clinton thanked Mr Sanders for his endorsement – even if their body language did not exude warmth and was downright awkward at times.

But will his supporters stand with her come November?

“You should know that in the weeks since the last primary, both campaigns have worked together in good faith to bridge some of the policy issues that divided us during the election”.

But those backing the Vermont Senator say Clinton needs to do more to get their support.

Clinton said the party is now united and is ready to defeat Trump in the November general elections.

Secretary Clinton is now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and is expected to be officially named to represent the party in the upcoming general election at the Democratic National Convention, which is set to kick off on July 25 in Philadelphia. What did Sanders’ insurgency tell America about itself?

“She will be the Democratic nominee for President”.

The White House rivals are set to appear together at a rally in New Hampshire this morning.

Although when the primary season ended Sanders vowed he would take the fight for the nomination to the Democratic National Convention, he has recently moved away from that position as the Democratic Party platform has included some of Sanders’ signature proposals, such as a $15 an hour minimum wage.

In his remarks, Sanders warned that Trump was a divisive figure who would create further splintering.
