Clinton smacks Trump as Federal Bureau of Investigation says no charges

Hillary Clinton’s top aides said Tuesday that they were relieved by the FBI’s announcement about their bosses’ email server, even though they admitted that they know the issue is far from behind the campaign.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) pointed out that charges can also be brought for “gross negligence” in the handling of classified data and called on the Federal Bureau of Investigation to release the actual evidence it used to make the determination that no charges should be pursued. Her decision came after Lynch had a private meeting with Hillary Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, at a Phoenix airport.

Once Obama took the mic, it was like 2008 all over again, as he ran through his repertoire of campaign catchphrases including “I love you back”, “Don’t boo – vote” and a confession to the crowd that he was all “fired up”. And Clinton sent work-related emails “in the territory of sophisticated adversaries”, hence it is possible “hostile actors” got into Clinton’s account.

Drawing on a report in The New York Times that Clinton “may decide” to keep on U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch should she win in November, Trump accused Clinton of bribing Lynch.

JAMES COMEY: Any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.

But Trump took his central message that Clinton is not facing charges because of a “rigged” and corrupt system beyond insinuation and varnished allusion.

There were concerns inside the Clinton campaign that the FBI and the Justice Department would drag out the investigation, possibly until after the Democratic National Convention later this month.

“Hillary Clinton didn’t accidentally sneak into the FBI during one of the country’s biggest holiday weekends to testify on her illegal activities, something that wouldn’t be afforded to others under investigation (and on a Saturday of all days)”, he said.

Comey said that the recommendation not to file charges in this specific case has to do with the statute concerning classified information..

Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, is criticizing her GOP rival, Donald Trump, for his brash tactics, telling thousands of teachers that bullying should not be allowed from somebody running for the White House.

Peppered throughout his remarks on Tuesday were also accusations that Clinton is “a criminal with a guilty conscience” and “one of the most crooked politicians in history”.

Ryan said Chaffetz would be calling up Comey to ask questions.

Comey didn’t address why she made a decision to use a series of private servers.

Hart hopes the FBI’s announcement shows undecided voters that Hillary can be trusted to lead the United States. This case is too political for a courtroom, so I say, leave it to the ballot box to address Clinton’s “mistake”.
