Clinton speech draws more than 33 million
Seeking to lead a nation that is “cleareyed about what we are up against” but unafraid of the challenge, Democrat Hillary Clinton made history Thursday, becoming the first woman to accept the nomination of a major political party for president of the United States. A week after it emerged she had plagiarised from Michelle Obama in her speech to the Republican convention, Trump has been forced to take down her own website, the NY Times reports.

“He’s taken the Republican Party a long way, from Morning in America to Midnight in America”, she said with a nod to the Reagan campaign slogan of 1984 as chants of “Hillary, Hillary” broke out repeatedly throughout her primetime speech.
She never quits. That’s why Hillary should be our next @POTUS.
She thanked him for a campaign that “inspired millions of Americans, particularly the young people who threw their hearts and souls into our primary” and said he had “put economic and social justice issues front and centre, where they belong”. “I know because I’ve seen it in the lives of people across America who get knocked down and get right back up”.
Trump and Clinton will face each for the first time on September 26 in the first of several presidential debates before Election Day on November 8.
And 82% of those CNN polled said Clinton’s policies would move the country in the right direction. Former Sanders supporters Sarah Silverman and “Mom” star Mimi Kennedy have said when it comes down to it, Clinton will get their votes. “It’s a guiding principle for the country we’ve always been and the future we’re going to build”. She told Americans we cannot afford to elect Donald Trump as president, warning: “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons”.
Donald Trump is suddenly distancing himself from last week’s Republican National Convention, after television ratings show that the Democratic National Convention consistently pulled in more viewers across the country for three consecutive nights.
On Monday, the First Lady electrified the audience with a brief but deeply personal speech that heaped praise on Clinton and poured scorn on her rival.
“Americans don’t say: ‘I alone can fix it, ‘ Clinton countered Thursday in Philadelphia”. They are supplied by IMAX Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma state, which says on its website that it sources products from India and China.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential aura is already peaking.
To much applause, she told supporters of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders that they shared the same cause.
Mrs Clinton also offered an olive branch to those who backed her rival Bernie Sanders, telling them their voice had been heard, even as isolated voices of dissent echoed around the Philadelphia sports arena. But I’m here to tell you tonight progress is possible.

By the third night, the attacks on Trump ramped up, with Clinton’s vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine, Vice-President Joe Biden and President Barak Obama all coming out swinging against the NY real estate mogul.
