Clinton steps up criticism of Sanders as unrealistic
Polls show that Socialist Bernie Sanders might win the Iowa caucus and will likely win the New Hampshire primary, but conventional wisdom is that Sanders has no chance of going any farther in the fight for the Democrat nomination. Bill Clinton had a close second place finish in New Hampshire in 1992, earning the title, “The Comeback Kid”.

In the past two weeks, the race for the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nomination has evolved from relatively civil disagreement over policy into a contentious winter competition between Clinton and Bernie Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont.
Clinton had led most public opinion polls in Iowa.
Hillary Clinton delivered a blistering assessment of Bernie Sanders’ credentials here on Thursday and implored Iowa voters to scrutinize his policies and readiness for the White House, declaring, “Theory isn’t enough”.
However, New Hampshire voters are pretty much evenly split when it comes down to the other Republican candidates.
Clinton, a former secretary of state, led on foreign policy, garnering more trust by 40 points.
Although Clinton avoided directly hitting Sanders earlier in the day, she did comment on the fact that Sanders said earlier this week that groups like NARAL, Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign – all organizations that endorsed Clinton – were part of the “establishment” that he was running against.
Clinton had a different answer on Sunday to the question of how she would govern.
“The proposal would not succeed, but it would cause very real consternation among our allies and partners”, Sullivan added.
“[Sanders has] been in Congress”, she said. It’s an issue Clinton has recently used in attacks against her opponent, painting Sanders with an irresponsible record on firearm legislation while in Congress.
Sanders’ spokesman Michael Briggs released statement on Thursday about “Hillary Clinton mudslinger David Brock”. I’ve worked with both of them a long time.
Well, I have to say I didn’t understand that at all.
“I just want to say thank you”, Clinton said at the opening of her appearance.
Hillary Clinton, her voice softened and tone contemplative, stressed to Iowa voters in Burlington on Wednesday night that while this campaign has not been easy, she knows “what it is like to be knocked down but not knocked out”. “Here’s an area where I think Secretary Clinton and I have a strong difference of opinion”.
Clinton portrayed herself as having better experience and better ability to work with other world leaders and with Republicans in Congress. “Can she seriously go after him for that when her CFO is the guy who helped write it?”

Sanders has responded to his promising polls by arguing that the “inevitable candidate ain’t so inevitable today”.
