Clinton strikes back at Bush on Iraq

“Right now, we have around 3,500 soldiers and Marines in Iraq, and more may well be needed”, said Bush, saying that the 2011 withdrawal was responsible for “creating the void that (IS) moved in to fill”.

Granted, he blames ISIL on the Obama/Clinton team, but just ask yourself: How can you not want to do it all again, in Iran this time?

Earlier this month, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump said waterboarding “doesn’t sound very severe” compared with the barbarism of Isis. Shortly after he arrived at the fair, for example, one woman told the former Florida governor that he looked great.

I don’t get it”, he said, brushing it off. “But people seem to be fascinated by it”. In the latest CNN/ORC survey, Bush fell to seventh with likely caucus-goers in Iowa, with just 5% support among Republicans.

In reiterating his own plan to root out the Islamic State terror group, which has since seized large chunks of Iraq, Bush called for engaging US allies and working to strengthen a coalition of moderates in Syria.

“I campaign the way that I would govern, out amongst everybody, no rope lines”, Bush said, referring to an effort by her campaign to separate Clinton from reporters by using a rope line at a July 4 parade.

Bush criticized the Obama administration and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a Democratic presidential candidate, for their handling of the Middle East, and the rise of the Islamic State. They want to know that we have skin in the game, that we’re committed to this.

Jeb! says, “I’m not saying this because I’m a Bush”. “When you are president your words matter”, he told a crowd. “I wouldn’t know how to drive – I could barely get from Dulles to Senator [Charles] Grassley’s office – I think I could probably get there with Global Positioning System”. “The surge worked and it’s been recognized as having worked, and Iraq was left fragile but secure”.

The obvious success brought by Bush’s diet has turned into a key topic of conversation for voters and journalists who cover his stories and it may also be because not many public figures talks about their healthy eating habits so openly.

Unlike his speech at the Reagan Presidential Library Tuesday, Bush directly defended his brother in Thursday’s forum, which was question-and-answer session.

“This has to be an Iraqi-led mission”, she said. “I do think in general that torture is not appropriate”, he said.

Bush said the country must have the “courage and conviction” to protect entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare for current recipients but also preserve them by implementing reforms that ensure the programs exist “for the next generation”.

Bush said his caution on making a commitment on torture was not based in ethical concerns, but rather the scrutiny his comments might receive.
