It was the most forceful and direct contrast Clinton has drawn with Sanders yet, a speech that underscored the increasing urgency and acrimony of the race. Her Democratic rival blamed “Wall Street money” for fueling the hits he’s been taking from her.

Mere days before the state’s caucuses, Hillary Clinton supporters gathered at the University of Iowa for a rally that featured yet another star-studded endorsement for the Democratic presidential candidate and frontrunner. “You are going to be part of my administration”, she vowed. Sullivan asserts, “When you look at all of these ideas, it’s pretty clear that he just hasn’t thought it through”.

Hillary Clinton suggested on Thursday while campaigning in Iowa that Sen.

“We’re approaching panic mode for the Clinton campaign right now, because the entire argument for her candidacy so far has been basically her inevitability as a result of her wide name recognition and this tremendous political machine that she has behind her”, Markay said.

“We need a Democratic nominee who will be able to beat the Republicans and get the job done for Americans”, she said during a recent stop in Manchester, New Hampshire. “He’s been in Congress, he’s been elected to office a lot longer than I have”.

She’s launched a fierce flurry of attacks on the Vermont senator, casting his domestic policy proposals as unrealistic and his foreign policy positions as naive.

Clinton’s campaign is anxious about a split among female voters.

Clinton, a former secretary of state, led on foreign policy, garnering more trust by 40 points.

Sanders maintains he will run a positive campaign and focus on the issues.

“I am not interested in ideas that sound good on paper but will never make it in the real world”, Clinton said.

“Goldman Sachs also provides very, very generous speaking fees to some unnamed candidates”.

Jennifer Aldrich, a 44-year-old fitness instructor in Iowa City, brought her 16-year-old daughter and her daughter’s friend to see Clinton. “I don’t want to rip up this accomplishment”, Clinton said. Sanders, on the other hand, served as an independent in the House of Representatives from 1991 to 2006 and has served as an independent senator since 2007. He’s counting on strong support in Iowa in college towns and liberal strongholds, though he’s making a late push in smaller cities and rural areas as well.

While New Hampshire voters also prefer Clinton over the GOP’s outsider candidates, hypothetical matchups against Rubio and Kasich yield tight races.
