The host of CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” took the Democratic presidential nominee to task on a number of issues. She was so on her game that Colbert, after waiting for applause to die down, cracked, “That’s a cheap trick, saying things that people like”.

“It was mutual”, Clinton laughed. In keeping with her new emphasis on fun, the interview began with a discussion of what Clinton did to celebrate her 68th birthday on Monday.

During the Arkansas years, Black said, Clinton “learned to organize, she learned to work with people, she learned to build organizations….” She fielded an array of questions about her past, her motivations for running for President, and where she stood on inequality. “I am running for my first term”.

“I’m going to leave that to the Republicans”. “It was a attractive day, I got to see my granddaughter over the weekend and my daughter and everybody was in good spirits and good health, you can’t ask for any more than that …”

“And they have to know – what their shareholders have to know is, yes, they will fail”.

From there, Stephen wanted to know how her views differed from fellow presidential hopeful Senator Bernie Sanders, a self-professed socialist.

Hillary Clinton would totally do a cameo on CBS’s “Madam Secretary”-if she could get the timing down”.

At the end of their 15 minutes together, Colbert – who is the best of the late-night interviewers when it comes to politics – gave his audience a few seasonal advice based on Clinton’s grilling by the House Benghazi committee last week.

Hillary Clinton Netflix and chills, just like us.

“Did you do anything special, like have a celebration for 11 hours?” “Bill and I just watched bad TV… a little binge watching, here and there”.

‘You look good in parachute trousers, ‘ she said.

She jested, “Another murder, really”. “I can picture them in a few office”. “I’ve been to the Rose Law Firm”, she said, referring to Clinton’s onetime place of employment.
