Clinton Ticket Heads to Rust Belt to Battle Trump on Trade
Becoming the first woman to win the nomination of a major political party, Clinton promised to be a president for “all Americans”, whether they voted for her or not.

Appearing on CNN Tonight, Angela Rye couldn’t hide what she really thought when Kayleigh McEnany started ripping into Hillary Clinton.
And her take? “We heard Donald Trump’s answer last week at his convention”.
Chelsea Clinton, Mrs Clinton’s daughter, will introduce her.
From backstage, Hillary shared her own message of pride via Twitter.
Clinton said, “No, Donald, you don’t”.
The protesters who began a march in the halls of the Wells Fargo Center were from the California delegation and held up a California flag as well as smaller American flags and signs in support of presumptive Green party presidential nominee Jill Stein. “Your cause is our cause”, she said, although boos were audible at points in the speech.
Sen. Bernie Sanders is personally urging his OR delegates to support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, but many have met his plea with silence.
“But his supporters will join our movement, because we will fix his biggest issue: trade deals that strip our country of its jobs and wealth”. At the DNC, he made the case for putting her in the Oval Office.
Some Sanders delegates threatened to storm out of her speech, though Sanders himself was sitting in the audience and smiled when Clinton mentioned him.
Hillary Clinton said during her Democratic convention speech that voters shouldn’t trust Donald Trump because of his go-it-alone mentality. “Yes, America’s destiny is ours to choose”.

“What matters now is Sanders has changed the way we do politics”, Meccano said, pointing to Sanders’ grasssroots network of supporters and donors.
The Children’s Health Insurance program, one of Clinton’s self described proud accomplishments was brought up in several speeches on her behalf.
During her speech, Clinton said the country was at “a moment of reckoning”, presenting herself as the responsible choice for president instead of Trump.
But the “America I know” refrain, and its variations, is a common phrase used by former U.S. presidents including Mr Obama himself and also George W. Bush.

Clinton sought to reach beyond the Democratic base, particularly to moderate Republicans unnerved by Trump.
