Clinton to release 2015 tax returns within days, criticizes Trump
“We’re going to stand up for small business and help create more of them to create more good jobs here and across America”, Clinton said in Iowa. It is not the same organization as the better-known Clinton Foundation.

Critics, including 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, have blasted Trump for failing to disclose his tax rate and raised questions about what his returns say about his net worth and various business ties, particularly in Russian Federation.
The release of this tax info coincides with one the Clinton campaign’s newest attack ads against Trump, which focuses primarily on his taxes.
Trump steered clear of mentioning his personal taxes Friday.
Donald Trump is now accusing President Barack Obama of founding the Islamic State group that is wreaking havoc from the Middle East to European cities.
“I oppose it now, I’ll oppose it after the election, and I’ll oppose it as President”, Clinton said.
Tax returns filed by the Clintons have been made public, in some form, for every year back to 1977. She put out her most recent eight years of tax filings last summer and several years during her first presidential bid.
Clinton called that the “Trump loophole” and said his plans would “only benefit millionaires like himself”.
Democrats believe Trump’s returns could be a trove of politically damaging information. They want to see his tax rate, charitable giving, and business dealings with foreign governments.
“Mr. Trump may talk a big game on trade, but his approach is based on fear, not strength”, Clinton said in her speech on the economy in Warren, Mich. “Fear that we can’t compete with the rest of the world, even when the rules are fair”.
Sitting behind Trump at his rally on Wednesday was former Rep. Mark Foley, R-Fla., who resigned in 2006 after allegations he sent sexually suggestive messages to former House pages.
In 2012, Mitt Romney released two years worth of tax returns. Tim Kaine and his wife will also release the last 10 years of their returns.
The couple’s tax rate falls in line with a policy proposal Hillary Clinton has supported in the campaign, the so-called “Buffett rule”, named after billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who said under federal law, he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary, who makes a middle-class salary. “We could provide a year’s worth of health care to almost 3 million kids”. But her substantial wealth has caused headaches.
The presidential hopeful famously stated in a televised interview with ABC News in 2014 that she and her husband “came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt”. She has proposed a $275 billion, five-year plan to rebuild infrastructure and proposed a 30 percent minimum tax on individuals with adjusted gross income of over $1 million.
The Clintons took in $10.6 million in income in 2015, a majority of which came from paid speeches by Bill Clinton, while $3 million came from book royalties. She commanded her highest rate from EBay, which paid her $315,000 for a March 2015 address in San Jose.
The release coincides with a new Clinton campaign web video featuring Republicans pressuring their nominee to release his returns.
He also earned more than $17 million over the same period for consulting work for Laureate Education, Inc., another for-profit education system based in Baltimore that makes most of its profits from overseas operations. Clinton addressed the issue of trade head on, acknowledging that “American workers and communities have paid the price” for unfair trade deals.

Trump’s campaign responded to the speech with a flurry of news releases highlighting Clinton’s support of some past trade deals and claiming she would “100% enact the TPP if she gets the chance”.
