Hillary Clinton has released her tax returns, adding to the pressure on her Republican rival for the White House, Donald Trump, to do the same.

Trump, Clinton’s Republican opponent, has steadfastly refused to release any of his personal tax information, citing legal advice from Trump Organization counsel not to publicly disclose his tax returns before the completion of an audit.

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks”, Trump said on the stage. During her speech in Warren, Michigan, on Thursday, Clinton pointed out that Trump “refuses to do what every other presidential candidate in decades has done”.

The Clintons’ prior tax returns showed that from 2007 through 2014, the couple made $139.1 million – much of it from paid speeches.

When Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested Tuesday that only gun rights supporters could prevent Hillary Clinton from choosing Supreme Court justices, many on both sides of the aisle saw it as a threat.

They paid about $10 million in taxes with a tax rate of 36 percent.

Kaine and Holton had an adjusted gross income of $313,441 and paid a total of 25.6% in tax. He has said he will release them once the audit is over.

The video also included footage of Trump saying that tax forms should be released-but he was clearly not talking about himself.

One of the only times Trump did release his returns was in the early 1980s, according toThe Washington Post, and at that time they revealed he paid absolutely nothing in income taxes.

Mrs. Clinton’s leads in the new polls were comparable in four-way horse races against Mr. Trump, Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

It’s probably not helped by the fact that The Donald has dragged his feet on releasing his tax returns and now doesn’t plan to do so until after the election.

The Clintons made most of their money in 2015 from business income, namely consulting, speaking and book royalties, for a total of $10.1m between the couple.

Of the the $1,042,000 the Clintons gave to charity as listed on their return, $1 million of that went to the Clinton Family Foundation. Instead, its profits are passed along to its shareholders and partners, who then report them on their individual tax returns.
