She said cutting the US off from the rest of the world, which she said Trump proposed, would not solve the problems.

In a speech in Warren, Michigan, Clinton will also promote cost-free college for middle class Americans, as well as guaranteeing workers’ share in the profits they help generate, according to a statement released ahead of the speech. “When he wants to scrap regulations that stop polluters from poisoning the air our children breathe and the water we drink”, Clinton said, three days after Trump laid out his economic vision for the country in which he announced a number of tax incentive for the middle class and common people. “A vote for Hillary is a vote for NAFTA, TPP and the end of American manufacturing”. “Now he returns to MI for an economic speech nearly one year to the day after he suggested automakers move production from MI to states with lower wages”.
While Trump won the GOP Michigan primary by a comfortable 12 points, Clinton lost her race to Sanders by 1.5 points. “It’s true that too often past trade deals have been sold to the American people with rosy scenarios that didn’t pan out”, Clinton told the crowd of factory workers.
“We’ve really been given a false narrative”, Trump said of his struggles in Utah.
“Let’s call it the ‘Trump Loophole, ‘” Clinton told voters here Thursday.
“If Team USA was as fearful as Trump, Michael Phelps and Simone Biles would be cowering in the locker room afraid to compete”, Clinton said. “Fear that our country has no choice but to hide behind walls”, Clinton said. In addition, tax returns are publicly available for the eight years her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was in the White House. Tim Kaine, have been working to take voters’ focus off past positions on trade and onto her proposals to create new jobs, increase wages, and grow the economy. Their efforts appear to have paid off; Trump held a lead over Clinton in polls that questioned who would best handle the economy, until last week.
Trump’s plan, with its emphasis on tax cuts and getting those intrusive government regulators off our backs, comes from somewhere high atop one of Trump’s skyscrapers.
The speech came in the heart of the Rust Belt, near where Trump had made his own big economic speech earlier this week.
She said Trump has offered “no credible plans” to address the problems faced by American working families.
“When he talked about Detroit, he talked only about failure and crime”, she said. “He’s missing so much of what makes MI great”.
Critics, including 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, have blasted Trump for failing to disclose his tax rate and raised questions about what his returns say about his net worth and various business ties, particularly in Russian Federation. She has proposed a $275 billion, five-year plan to rebuild infrastructure and proposed a 30 percent minimum tax on individuals with adjusted gross income of over $1 million.
This week also saw 50 leading Republican security experts who cautioned that Trump would be a disaster for US national security if elected president, citing that he lacks self-control and acts impetuously.
“I would propose a new plan that will dramatically simplify tax filing for small businesses to help community banks and credit unions”, Clinton said. With that release, Clinton’s aides said 38 years of Clinton tax returns have been available to the press over the course of her career, dating back to 1977.
