Previous polls have shown a consistent lead for Clinton.

The survey data comes as headliners of the Democratic National Convention attempt to convince the American people that Clinton is the best candidate for the presidency.

VFW members gather near the stage to meet Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton after she speaks at the 117th National Convention of Veterans of Foreign Wars at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, Monday, July 25, 2016.

A two-way poll by Mitchell Research on Friday shows that Hillary Clinton is leading Trump by 6 points in MI.

Clinton leads Trump among females, too, 49.3 to 45.7 percent.

There have been two major polls conducted since the convention, a four-day gathering in Cleveland that ended with Trump’s acceptance speech Thursday.

Nearly twice as many women between the ages of 18 and 34 said they support Clinton (49 percent) as those who said they support Trump (26 percent).

A majority (52 per cent) now say Trump is running for president for the good of the country rather than personal gain, just 44 per cent say the same about Clinton. Trump also mocked Sanders for endorsing Clinton and urging his supporters to get behind her at the convention.

The 2014 VA scandal revolved around long wait times for patients and other negligent activities.

In the CNN poll, the 39 per cent who say they have a favorable view of Clinton is lower than at any point in CNN’s regular polling since April 1992 – when she wasn’t even first lady yet. After the Democrats held their convention, Obama then rose by a few percentage points and again pulled ahead. He was also joined by Gov. Pat McCrory and Sen.

Before endorsing Clinton after the Democratic primary ended, Sanders often described the political and economic system as “rigged”, and accused Democratic National Committee leaders of siding with Clinton.

Trump had led Clinton by a similar margin a week before the GOP convention started, after the sharp criticism the former secretary of state received from FBI Director James Comey over her handling of classified information in her emails. “They look at the state of Georgia, which has been heavily controlled by Republicans for more than a decade, and dismiss the fact that changes have occurred and now 37 percent of voters are minorities”.
