Clinton tries to wrestle change candidate mantle from Trump in Western Pennsylvania
Mitt Romney, who led an anti- Donald Trump campaign during the Republican primaries, has said the party’s presidential nominee has “momentum” and could win the White House race but is facing “some tough headwinds”.

Clinton, along with her running-mate Tim Kaine, a USA senator from Virginia, is on a three-day tour of Pennsylvania and OH after becoming the first woman to accept a major United States party’s presidential nomination at the Democratic convention in Philadelphia on Thursday.
“He was kind of trying to turn that into some kind of ridicule”, Kaine said after a campaign event in Pittsburgh.
Republican candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to appear at a rally Monday at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.
We could go on with issues, including her plans for sensible gun safety and for combatting terrorism – her policy positions are laid out in detail on her campaign web site – but issues in this election are nearly secondary to questions of character and trustworthiness.
Former President Bill Clinton, who joined his wife and Kaine at the event, agreed: “I cannot conceive how you can say that about a Gold Star mother”. The celebratory mood quickly evaporated amid fresh revelations that hackers had breached a program used by her campaign and Republican nominee Donald Trump promised to sharpen his barbs.
“I’m an optimist, and I’m confident”, Clinton told the crowd of mostly unionized factory workers inside.
Clinton promised to allow students and college graduates to refinance loans to lower crushing student debt, taking a shot at her GOP rival in the process.
“You can’t forget that Hillary Clinton is a player as well, and she’s an very bad candidate”.
Ghazala Khan has said she didn’t speak because she’s still overwhelmed by her grief and can’t even look at photos of her son without crying. However, Rust Belt and New England suburban women have begun to warm up to Mr. Trump, despite what I personally believed to be a decent job by Democrats at their convention to reach out to them.
Clinton said her and Kaine’s trip is a “sentimental tour through Pennsylvania” for her. “Captain Khan and his family represent the best of America and we salute them”. Trump’s anti-trade message has appealed to those voters, who feel frustrated with an economic recovery that’s largely left them behind. Democrats hammered home those themes this week with an array of politicians, celebrities, gun-violence victims, law enforcement officers and activists of all races and sexual orientation.
At a rally in Pittsburgh, she was introduced by Mark Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks owner, technology investor and television personality who recently endorsed her.
It’s importance was particularly telling as Trump made a campaign stop in Scranton this past week, talking about his plans to bring coal mines, steel mills and other manufacturing businesses back to Pennsylvania.

The board said the “times” require someone who sees a hopeful future for the nation, ‘a person who has faith in the strong, prosperous and confident America we hope to bequeath to our children and grandchildren, ‘ adding ‘that’s not Donald Trump’s America’. While both Trump and Clinton are viewed unfavorably by huge swaths of people across the country, voters will still have to make a choice on election day.
