Clinton, Trump kick off their race to election finish
In a written excerpt from an interview with ABC News that will air Tuesday morning, Clinton simply said “no” when asked if she would travel to Mexico before the election on November 8, without elaborating further.

“Trump has shown us repeatedly who he is, and what he would do if he were president, and that includes deporting 16 million people”, the Democratic presidential nominee said. “Every time I think of Trump, I get allergic”, Clinton croaked in between coughs, after drinking some water and patting her chest.
While speaking to the American Legion, a veterans’ organization, last month, Clinton said she would treat cyber attacks “just like any other attack” and would “be ready with serious political, economic and military responses”.
Donald Trump: “The media is very protective of crooked Hillary”.
“I’ll say it again”.
Clinton arrived in OH aboard a new blue-and-white Boeing 737 campaign plane emblazoned with her slogan, “Stronger Together”.
“I look forward to the debates”, Trump told reporters, saying he regards them as “an important element of what we’re doing”.
Trump is also expected to campaign at a fair in Youngstown, Ohio, in a nod to the state’s role as a make-or-break proving ground for Republican presidential candidates.
The Republican real estate mogul said immigrants in the country illegally may not need to return to their countries or origin to obtain legal status, appearing to contradict his past positions. “What he has said about immigration, from the first day of his campaign to that speech in Phoenix, is consistent – a deportation force to round up 16 million people, to get rid of them”.
As her jet landed, it parked on the tarmac near Trump’s with the space of about two football fields separating them.
Ms Clinton has held a consistent lead over Trump in national and battleground polls since the Democratic convention in July, though it has narrowed in recent weeks after reports about her use of private e-mail and about the Clinton family foundation.
Clinton shot back by recalling Trump’s meeting with Mexico’s President Enrique Pena Nieto and how Trump “can’t even go to a foreign country without” triggering a feud with a world leader. Trump, meanwhile, participated in a round table with union members in Cleveland and was scheduled to campaign later in the OH city of Youngstown.
Speaking to reporters, the GOP nominee said that he has not engaged in traditional debate prep but that he and his campaign advisers discuss the debates regularly.
Trump had previously not committed to participating in the debates, objecting first to the debate dates – which overlap with National Football League games – and later saying that he would not agree until the moderators were announced.
Trump said Monday aboard his plane that he was open to regularly allowing a pool of reporters to travel on his aircraft going forward.
