“For the moderator to let lies that come out of his mouth at this debate to go unchallenged would give Donald Trump an unfair advantage”.

During an interview on “Morning Joe” earlier this month, Cuban said he would love to moderate one of the debates because he would “crush” Trump. The co-chairman of the Commission on Presidential Debates, Republican Frank Fahrenkopf, doesn’t think so.

News 12 Long Island and News12.com will bring you special coverage of the first presidential debate, which takes place on Monday, Sept. 26.

The candidates will stand at podiums.

Fahrenkopf says the commission solved the problem by building what he called “a pitcher’s mound” behind the Dukakis podium.

Debates can also provide lasting images that can reinforce perceptions of a candidate.
