Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine is receiving a warm welcome in a return visit to the Capitol.

Graham elaborated that he believed Clinton is “naive”, adding that Trump is wrong about how to handle the Mideast.

In Wednesday’s GWU poll, Clinton’s lead is likely related to her slight advantage on the question of likeability.

Vanity Fair says that Hillary had a double-digit lead on Trump in August, and it’s vanished since reports revealed more leaked emails.

Investments in cybersecurity and in the military will create new jobs and the “technologies of tomorrow”, Trump said.

Fifty-nine per cent said they will ‘reluctantly vote for the candidate of the party [they] usually support’.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine is stopping by the Capitol while in Washington for fundraisers.

The campaign had barred The Washington Post, Politico, Buzzfeed, The Daily Beast, The Huffington Post, Univision and others from covering his rallies, news conferences and other formal campaign events. His public campaign schedule resumes Friday.

Hillary Clinton is probably the most knowledgeable and experienced person in my lifetime to be nominated to become the next president of the United States.

“I did exactly what I should have done and I take it very seriously, always have, always will, ‘ she said”. John McCain, locked in a tight race in Arizona, promised in a video to act as a check, not a rubber stamp if Clinton wins. The comment was made during a Republican debate on modernizing the nuclear arsenal.

He has said the increase will be paid for by government cuts and collecting uncollected taxes. He also echoed long-standing U.S. demands for all North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members to spend 2% on their militaries.

“We don’t like hearing the truth sometimes because it means that our lives may be inconvenienced”, Wolfington said. “It just gets in our way”. He said he would make the government “leaner, ” in part by using attrition to shrink the workforce, and said he’d bring in new money by asking countries like Germany, Japan and Saudi Arabia to pay more for the security the USA provides them. And he expects to raise additional revenue by increasing domestic energy production.

As Stephen Zunes, professor of politics and worldwide studies at the University of San Francisco, put it in a column that appeared on Common Dreams in June, this election-when it comes to foreign policy issues-can ultimately be viewed as a selection between variant grades of poison. The editorial lists her tenure as a senator and secretary of state as evidence of Clinton’s governing success. More recently, the real-estate mogul labeled her a “bigot”.

On Tuesday, the Texas newspaper declined to endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and said he was “no Republican and certainly no conservative”.

Trump’s address Wednesday represented his most substantive and comprehensive plan on national security to date – part of an ongoing effort to assuage doubts that he lacks a sufficient understanding of policy issues to assume the presidency.

“I just don’t know where he’s coming from on foreign policy and on economics and on Obamacare”.

He says that he wants “a stable, peaceful world with less conflict and more common ground”.

“This will require military warfare, but also cyber warfare, financial warfare, and ideological warfare”, he said.

“It is a great honor to have such unbelievable support from so many distinguished retired military leaders”, said Trump in a statement.

Trump’s address in Philadelphia also included plans to eliminate deep spending cuts known as the “sequester” that were enacted when Congress failed to reach a budget compromise in 2011.

He’d enforce “all classification rules, and enforce all laws relating to the handling of classified information” – a swipe at Mrs Clinton’s use of private e-mail when she was secretary of state – and would order the Joint Chiefs and federal agencies to review USA cyberdefenses, the campaign said.

The announcement came as the two candidates prepared for a national security forum on Wednesday night.

Clinton’s campaign accused Trump of relying on “childish insults” during the Philadelphia speech. As Vox put it, “The endorsement is a sign of how much Trump’s campaign has shaken even staunch bastions of Republicanism”.

Among Clinton’s new supporters is retired General Lloyd Newton who served in the Air Force. Tim Kaine, saying he would describe her as “the only candidate who has the experience, temperament and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief and who has the vision to make America safer and stronger together”.

Both the FBI and U.S. Justice Department have cleared Clinton of criminal wrongdoing in the email scandal, but FBI Director James Comey has called her behaviour “extremely careless”. She told the Federal Bureau of Investigation she relied on her staff not to send emails containing classified information. Democrats have won the seat in the last eight gubernatorial contests. He did so again today when explaining why he was ending the practice.
