Clinton, Trump Move to Show Medical Fitness for White House
Clinton has since released more detailed medical information from her doctor describing her as “healthy and fit to serve as president”.

“She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States”, Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s physician wrote. She also had an elbow fracture in 2009 and fainted and had a concussion in late 2012, which were discussed in a note from Dr. Bardack previous year.
The doctor said Clinton’s blood pressure was 100/70; her heart rate came in at 70 beats per minute; her respiratory rate was 18 breaths per minute; her cholesterol was 189; and her temperature was 97.8. all within normal ranges.
That changed Sunday after Clinton left a 9/11 memorial ceremony early and video caught her almost collapsing and having to be helped into her van as she left.
Even as Clinton took a brief leave from the stump – she is set to resume travelon Thursday – her campaign wrestled with legitimate questions about a lack of transparency during the Sunday scare, the rumor mill churned apace.
Perhaps the Hillary Clinton for president campaign can turn a corner this week after the belated admission that she was diagnosed with pneumonia Friday. The statement says this is a non-contagious bacterial pneumonia and that Clinton was treated with Levaquin, which she has been advised to take for 10 days.
Meanwhile, 37 percent of voters think Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has given false information on his personal health to public, despite the fact that Trump was recently bogged down in controversy surrounding his brief medical report that stated that he would be the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”.
“She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”, wrote Bardack, who also authored a letter about Clinton’s health released in July 2015.
Clinton had been previously diagnosed with blood clots, and in 2012 while she was secretary of state a clot was discovered in her brain after she suffered a concussion.
Clinton plans to return to the campaign trail on Thursday after several days resting at her suburban NY home. She plans to hit the campaign trail Thursday in North Carolina.
A two-page note by Mrs. Clinton’s doctor aimed to reassure voters she is in good overall health coming off a pneumonia diagnosis and a near-collapse over the weekend while she was getting into her vehicle.
Clinton is now taking Armor Thyroid, Coumadin, Levaquin (temporarily), Clarinex and B-12 as needed.
He Tweeted: “I must advice the Clinton campaign to perform toxicologic analysis of Ms.’ Clinton’s blood”.
Trump has frequently questioned his Democratic rival’s health and her ability to withstand the rigours of the U.S. presidency.
In the Real Clear Politics average of major polls, Clinton’s lead over Trump has now dropped to 2.4 pct points in a two way race, and a two pct point in a four-way race. An electrocardiogram of Kaine’s heart was normal with the exception of “left arterial enlargement”.
News of Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” – though it appeared to reveal little detail – had earlier flooded the USA airwaves on Wednesday, upping the pressure on Clinton to share more health data before returning to the trail Thursday with appearances in North Carolina and Washington.
Trump discussed his health in a segment of the “Dr. Oz Show” that will air on Thursday. “I can’t say it”.
The Republican presidential nominee shared information about the exam just hours after his campaign signaled he would only talk about health matters in a very general sense.
