Clinton, Trump Return to ‘Tonight Show’ Before the Debate
People have taken issue with Fallon buddying up to Trump on Tonight Show last night, but that hasn’t stopped us from doing what he wanted: write about it.

Not many viewers are happy with Jimmy Fallon’s idea of fun and feel his all-chummy attitude while interviewing Donald Trump was uncalled for.
Thursday night, late-night comedy host Jimmy Fallon invited GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump onto his program for a fairly uncontroversial interview.
Others argued Fallon could’ve been courteous and still asked some questions. During his interview with Trump, Fallon leaned over and asked if he could mess up Trump’s hair.
“The answer is yes, but…”
“Look, I don’t know him, and I know nothing about him, really”, Trump said. He added that Trump has been “amazing to follow” because “you say some shocking things that I can not even believe”. “I hope the people of New Hampshire will understand”.
Fallon also thanked him for providing what he described as grist for so much comic material.
After their appearances on “The Tonight Show”, Clinton and Trump will participate in their first debate against each other on the NBC Nightly News on September 26. He told Trump about his work, “I hate to break it to you but I’ve done an impression of you once or twice”, even trying out the Trump voice for the candidate.
Donald Trump denounced the press Thursday as becoming “more and more vicious” and joked that he’s pursuing higher office because he’s “looking to make a lot less money”.
“You say some shocking things”, Fallon said.
In reference to his comments about Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis, Fallon asked Trump if he had ever been sick.
