Clinton, Trump Roll on Toward November
In fact, last month, her husband Chris Christie was also captured “staring off into the distance” even as Trump essayed his victory speech. The only thing she has going is the women’s card. She spoke in Philadelphia, where Democrats will gather in July for their nominating convention.

Sanders won only in Rhode Island, a very disappointing showing for him.
Hillary Clinton got off to a hot start on Northeast Super Tuesday, picking up projected wins in the Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania primaries.
“The people in every state in this country should have the right to determine who they want as president and what the agenda of the Democratic Party should be”, he said a statement.
Cruz and Kasich are mathematically eliminated from clinching the nomination before the party’s national convention this summer.
In March, the governor made headlines and sparked an internet firestorm when he stood behind Republican presidential front-runner Trump with a dazed look on his face. Kasich has earned just 153 delegates. In the Republican field, Trump won all contests – securing at least 105 delegates.
With Kasich on the sidelines in Indiana, Cruz is investing heavily there in radio and TV advertising and he’ll spend considerable time campaigning in the state this week.
Looking ahead to next week’s IN primary, Trump said he’s met with Gov. Mike Pence. “Tonight this campaign moves back to more favorable terrain”. The Indiana primary will be held May 3. Yet there’s no doubt the GOP is deeply divided by his candidacy.
“We are in this campaign to win and become the Democratic nominee”, he said, telling supporters in IN that “unusual things can happen in politics”.
All this puts Clinton in a commanding position to win the Democratic nomination.
Clinton has 1,640 pledged delegates to Sanders’ 1,331 – but if superdelegates are counted, Clinton’s lead rises to 2,159 to Sanders’ 1,370. “Many of them are already signed”.

Sanders himself said that California deserves a voice in the primary process, and they don’t go to the polls until June. While Clinton’s campaign expects Sanders to stay in the race, her advisers are eager for the Vermont senator to tone down his attacks on the former secretary of state.
