Clinton:Trump taking far-right hate groups ‘mainstream’

The speech that Hillary Clinton delivered on Thursday was the one that many Democrats had been waiting for.

He warned of “the damage to our security, to our integrity, to our standing in the world, if Hillary Clinton is allowed to sell the Oval Office the same way she sold her office as Secretary of State”.

“Hillary Clinton has demonstrated today that she’s more interested in subterfuge than addressing the issues in front of her”. This Presidential race is bringing it to the forefront.

Clinton delivered the speech in the middle of a hard week for her campaign, as the release of new emails from her time as secretary of state revived criticism of her decision to use a private address and server rather than a government one.

In her campaign’s latest ad, the Clinton camp compares Trump’s controversial record on race, including a 1970s law suit by the Justice Department for discriminating against African Americans trying to rent apartments in his family-owned buildings.

Picking up where President Obama left off at the Democratic convention, Hillary Clinton praised the way Republicans used to do things during a speech Thursday, effectively distinguishing the GOP of the last two decades with the one now led by Donald Trump. “His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly risky”, Clinton said. But they have been noticeably quiet in defending Trump against Clinton’s charges of racism in his campaign. Breitbart executive chairman and Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon bragged earlier this summer that his site had become “the platform for the alt-right.”

Clinton’s campaign also released an online video that compiles footage of prominent white supremacist leaders praising Trump, who has been criticized for failing to immediately denounce the support he’s garnered from white nationalists and supremacists, including former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke.

“Through it all, he has continued pushing discredited conspiracy theories with racist undertones”, she said.

“People who are supporting Donald Trump, who have noted voted Republican in the past, who have not voted in quite a while, are so exhausted of arguing with family and friends and colleagues about their support of Donald Trump that they just decided not to discuss it”, Conway said. In the meantime, he has been softening his tone on immigration and reaching out to African-Americans, a traditional Democratic constituency.

Trump also rejected the notion that he was embracing the “alt-right” movement. I think she has been extremely bad for Hispanics. “There is no alt right or left”.

For Trump, this is good news.

Agreeing with Mrs Clinton, Associate Professor Robert Dickens, who teaches political science at the University of Nevada, said: “Frankly, the evidence is clear. She should be ashamed of herself”.

“We will have a strong border and we’ll have a tremendous wall, a wall that Mexico pays for”, Trump told CNN.

“This recently released poll of Jewish voters in Florida confirms again that Jews continue to flee the Democrat Party in greater and greater numbers”, he told Jewish Insider in a statement.

While Clinton wants to blunt any inroads that Trump might make with minority communities, she was also making the case for her candidacy on Thursday to moderates, independents and Republicans who are alarmed by Trump’s associations with the more nefarious elements of the internet.
