Clinton, Trump vie for world leaders’ attention in NY
A prominent member of the Kennedy family says former Republican President George H.W. Bush told her that he plans to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton for president this fall. What does that mean?

The campaigns weighed in after the weekend of bomb incidents and multiple stabbings in central Minnesota as the November 8 election loomed closer. I’ve contributed to actions that neutralized our enemies. “Second, we know Donald Trump’s comments have been used online in recruitment for terrorists”.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were plunged into questions about USA national security on Monday after three attacks in a single day put the threat of terrorism at the top of the U.S. agenda. Trump said in a CNN interview.
Both candidates tried to use the attacks to flex their national security credentials, with world leaders gathering in security-heightened NY for the annual United Nations General Assembly.
“When I am President, terrorists like today’s suspect in the NY and New Jersey bombings, Ahmad Khan Rahami, and yesterday’s knife-wielding ISIS sympathizer in Minnesota, Dahir Adan, will be stopped”, Trump said in the statement. She said she hopes to enlist experts in the country’s Silicon Valley technology hub in California to help devise ways to monitor internet conversations among plotters “to counter terrorism attacks before they occur”.
“This isn’t just a matter of terrorism, this is also really a question of quality of life”, he said. They are ratcheting up advertising and dispatching their top supporters to Pennsylvania, from Bill Clinton to Joe Biden to last week’s visit from President Barack Obama.
At a minimum, an energized Pennsylvania campaign is a balm for Clinton as she weathers a dip in national polls and dips in the swing states of Florida and Ohio.
The Republican presidential nominee told “Fox and Friends” that “I should be a newscaster because I called it before the news”.
Obama failed to reach agreement with the Iraqi government at the end of 2011 on extending a U.S.
Clinton is facing Republican Donald Trump in the race for the next president. “We are going after the bad guys and we are going to get them, but we are not going to go after an entire religion and give ISIS exactly what it is wanting”, Clinton said.
But while much of the foreign policy establishment has rallied around Clinton, Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric, promises to close USA borders and vows to aggressively profile potential terrorists have fueled his presidential bid. Officials in NY and New Jersey said Sunday they were still investigating who was behind the explosions and what the motivation was, while the Minnesota attack was being investigated as a possible act of terrorism.
Clinton will briefly turn her focus from national security later Monday, when she woos younger voters at a Philadelphia university. “But that’s because it’s not a detail for you, it’s a big deal, and it should be a big deal to your president”, she said. Authorities were also investigating the stabbings of nine people at a Minnesota mall as a possible act of terrorism.

Clinton and Trump are slated, separately, to meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Clinton has additional meetings with Japan’s Shinzo Abe and Ukraine’s Petro Poroshenko. The invective spewing from both candidates accomplishes nothing – at least nothing good. “That’s okay with me”, she said.
