Clinton up 9 over Sanders in Iowa
Clinton also has an advantage over Sanders among Iowa’s registered Democrats, pollsters found. She receives 54 percent support to his 42 percent.

In New Hampshire, where Sanders leads in latest surveys, the Vermont senator hasn’t aired a single ad about his stance on guns this past month.
“It can sound like he hasn’t really thought it through”, says Clinton.
The former secretary of state hammered the senator for the position, using it as an opportunity to highlight her record.
“I think you should vote for her because she’s the best change-maker”, Clinton said. “I think I have the right judgment to conduct sensible foreign policy”.
Hillary Clinton suggested on Thursday while campaigning in Iowa that Sen.
US Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders is leading frontrunner Hillary Clinton by eight points in the state of Iowa just 10 days before the caucuses there, a new poll shows.
Clinton began her remarks here by stressing that, compared to the candidates on the Republican side, she and Sanders disagree on relatively little.
“Clinton’s message has always been more effective for a general election audience than the primary activist base”, said strategist Ben LaBolt, a former Obama campaign aide. “It would be such a huge step”, she said.
“Sanders organizers seem to be making some headway”, said Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, who says he’s likely to endorse Clinton.
Sanders spokeswoman Rania Batrice responded to Clinton Thursday evening in an email to the Register. “And that gets us to the choice that you have to make in this caucus”. “In theory, there are a lot of things to like about his ideas”, she said at an event at Simpson College, in Indianola, Iowa. He was asked about that today, and he said that unlike Secretary Clinton, it didn’t take him a long, long time to come out in opposition to Keystone.
She also attacked his experience and fitness to lead the country, criticizing his suggestion that the US should warm its relationship with Iran.

“Their support for terrorism, the anti-American rhetoric that we’re hearing from some of their leadership is something that is unacceptable”, Sanders said. Clinton generally attracts a middle-aged crowd, while Sanders’ supporters are generally younger, first-time voters. Sanders, on the other hand, served as an independent in the House of Representatives from 1991 to 2006 and has served as an independent senator since 2007. “The person that is about to walk on this stage, not only am I voting for because of her beliefs, her strength and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment. I guess I’m pretty much convinced that I’ll probably caucus for Hillary”, says Beverly Krejsa, a lab technician from Warren County.
